Duke is not fast cmon, u think duke is fast like our stable we had that can run away feom elite defenses. Duke got slower with the weight gain ag wanted him on. Cook is fast to me thats fast freeman thats fast portis thats fast , i would say duke is mid tier as far as a fast rb. The kid was insanely dominant as a freshman RB and then all of a sudden our dumb *** staff takes him off special teams and tries to have him be a patient between the tackles downhill RB... Saying Duke is slow is one of the dumbest things i've ever read on here. You're probably one of the fools that blamed Duke for our loss to FSU

Freeman? Please tell me your not talking abouT Davonte Freeman??? Because if so u lose all credibility... Bruce is a 4.5 guy will never be a 4.3 guy... His toughness hands change of directions is elite.....how was Dorsett as a returner ? horrible... Bruce can make just as much an impact if not greater then dorsett

He never broke 4.47 in hs and that was at the UA combine, which used stop watches. He also never broke 11 seconds in the 100m. Bruce also ran that 4.5 laser coming off an ankle injury that held him out for months, IIRC.

Did you even watch the highlights? 2:25...kid looks plenty fast to me. Regardless, speed is nice but the ability to make people miss, to make something out of nothing...that's something we haven't had much of lately.

Bruce reminds me of Duke. They have the same build: short, strong, big hands. Neither is a burner but they dominate with quickness.

Most important, they have elite instincts and confidence.

Watch the game again, they beat us because of huge, gaping holes in the line. Speed isn't s**t if a DT is stuffing you in the backfield.

freeman ran a 4.6 at the combine and was known for everything but speed..he was probali running a 4.7 coming out of high school
