It’s not a “speed” issue with our LBs. They have poor instincts and are horribly coached. Skalski, Procter, or Venables anymore athletic the any of our LBs?

I’ve never seen Etienne get decleated like how Brooks did him like he was a light weight. That’s elite hitting power that should always be on the field. What the **** is Diaz and Baker thinking?

I seem all need to see on Brooks last year as a true freshman against La Tech. His read and react skills were off the charts compared to our other linebackers. Quarterman looked like he was moving in slow motion compared to him. He missed a couple tackles cause he weigh about 205 pounds but this year he is up to 230. Play that young bull and have McCloud and Jennings take their rightful place on the bench.

You dont need linebackers that are 4.4 fast. You need the ones that read and react. Clemson doesnt have ultra fast linebackers in their roster and they smoked us.

Sam Brooks didnt nail Etienne by attacking the hole from the get go. Read it and reacted. Jennings, Mccloud, etc., they dont read. They just thump into the closest guy.
