Saban hiding the numbers

NIL money at UGA and Bama is just the cherry on top of the sundae.

Yep.

Even the Gubmint distinguishes between "REALIZED" income and "RECOGNIZED" income.

Recognized is what's on paper.

Realized - well that's all the other stuff . . .

In Bama - it's always been Realized, but nothing Recognized. Gobs and Gobs and Cars.

NOW - they can do both!

Those programs adjusted things after a couple early losses.

What baffles me is how over the years no prominent bagman or even a related party has ever snitched . You've got to hand it to these rich, Southern rednecks, their omerta game is strong. I wonder what keeps them all so loyal?

They have, several times. The response from the governing bodies depends on the institution being snitched on.

Case #1:
Cam Newton's uncle called into an AM sports talk radio show and admitted to facilitating a $200K cash payment in exchange for Cam Newton signing with Auburn. He did this 3 weeks before the national title game. The NCAA said they would conduct a THOROUGH investigation. Two weeks later Cam Newton was cleared to play in the national title game. TWO WEEKS. The facts later showed that Auburn did in fact make that payment through the uncle.

Case #2:
A university of Miami booster named Nevin Shapiro claimed to have given millions to UM players. The NCAA conducted a 3 year investigation that included the NCAA bribing a lawyer in an effort to get information from an unrelated legal case. The facts later showed Shapiro to have lied.

The role of governing bodies (and the federal government for that matter) is to protect the haves from the rise of the have-nots.

I'm sure each school's compliance department has record of all NIL deals, but I'd think that information is privileged.

Seems the only way to do a real story on it is to get that info from the players themselves. They may even have NDA's tied to them, so that may be a no go as well.

He also didn't like his time atalabama ..an use to leave to go back to Cali every chance he got..maybe thas why they got mom a place there...cause he definitely wanted to leave. It was a means to an end. To getto the league..but I don't think najee even will revisit the school.

Learned all this on his draft path documentary. Kid speaks his mind..so tha clip he was Lowkey saying he got paid.
