The rich will get richer. They'll figure out a way. It's all about priorities really.
NIL helped us, but we are still way behind the big boys in terms of what they can offer.
You think so? There's not much money in the state of alabama.
Who cares about NIL money. We want kids that want to be Canes! Or something like that.NIL money at UGA and Bama is just the cherry on top of the sundae.
Not highest grade of weed in the dispensary.I mean its something we need to prove that we can do...exactly how it was written.
"...we need to prove we can develop and continue put high caliber players into the NFL..."
Do you work for the national media or something?
LOL
Well, you just mentioned Butch so that's the end of sanity in this threadIll put it this way, if we have decided to INVEST in our program back in 2000 when Butch hauled ***, we could be saying the same **** right now, as wel as the rest of the country. The rich will get richer.
We probably had several opportunities to really INVEST in the program, before we got to where we are. Coker was never going to be the answer.
We are in a bad mess right now and having to compete with programs that have an established track record of success is going to be a severe uphill battle.
One thing that I promise will not work, is the coaching carousel. Mario better be the guy, and IDGAF who he has around him, as long as we make progress each year
This is year 1
To **** on Bama and their hypocrisy which is cool with meWhy did espn even write this story? They got a poor response rate and did nothing with the data
Hopefully Mario works out because the scary thing is no investment was going to be made if he didn't come in. That's a joke in itself, but at least Mario came and the money came with him.Ill put it this way, if we have decided to INVEST in our program back in 2000 when Butch hauled ***, we could be saying the same **** right now, as wel as the rest of the country. I would genuinely like to punch him in the face.View attachment 210634
“I know the consequence is going to be difficult for the people who are spending tons of money to get players,” Nick Saban said at an event counting down the start of the World Games, which will be held in Birmingham in July. “You read about it, you know who they are. We were second in recruiting last year. A&M was first. A&M bought every player on their team. Made a deal for name, image and likeness.
“We didn’t buy one player. Aight? But I don’t know if we’re going to be able to sustain that in the future, because more and more people are doing it. It’s tough.”
I would genuinely like to punch him in the face.
I hate bold-faced liars.

Winning. What baffles me is how over the years no prominent bagman or even a related party has ever snitched . You've got to hand it to these rich, Southern rednecks, their omerta game is strong. I wonder what keeps them all so loyal?
Like a third world country, because there's so many poor people. Why are there so many wealthy Bama boosters? State doesn’t offer anything
Agree, and unfortunately we always will be.NIL helped us, but we are still way behind the big boys in terms of what they can offer.
What about the schools that aren’t winning? There are other $EC schools with bagmen that haven’t had near the success of Bama or UGA.Winning.
