Im sure he's just embarrassed by how little school has to offer.

NIL helped us, but we are still way behind the big boys in terms of what they can offer.
When it comes to money, it is literally not as far off as you think, and as a matter of fact we are farther ahead of many that you would think we are not.

What we lack, is the proof in the pudding right now

We need to win, we need to prove we can develop and continue to put high caliber players into the NFL, and we need to be able to sell these recruits on the "program".

History is one thing, but like many others on here have said...there are zero recruits out there that were even alive the last time Miami had real success.

Not one single recruit is going to visit Miami today and say "Man, I remember when The U was dominant"...but that is happening every single year at Bama.

I'm assuming as "non-state" entities, these NIL collectives are exempt from government sunshine laws?

Why are there so many wealthy Bama boosters? State doesn’t offer anything

Because they have an alumni base that supports the program much more abundantly than, say, a UM does.

As a matter of fact, we probably have more wealthy alumni (by the numbers) than Bama. They are all no big supporters of the football team.

Honestly, when you look at Power 5 schools with wealthy alumni bases...USC kicks all of our asses

“I know the consequence is going to be difficult for the people who are spending tons of money to get players,” Nick Saban said at an event counting down the start of the World Games, which will be held in Birmingham in July. “You read about it, you know who they are. We were second in recruiting last year. A&M was first. A&M bought every player on their team. Made a deal for name, image and likeness.

“We didn’t buy one player. Aight? But I don’t know if we’re going to be able to sustain that in the future, because more and more people are doing it. It’s tough.”

Why did espn even write this story? They got a poor response rate and did nothing with the data

So Paula Lavigne and the guy on their two-person investigation team will have something to do.

The schools blew off their FOIA requests and that'll be that

Disney in way too deep with the SEC to push matters

I think the top dogs are getting paid the millions (Bryce, Will Anderson, etc) and the rest are getting the standard Charger HellCat and minimum NIL deal

Relatively speaking, that'd be pretty much like the NFL.

Franchise QB's getting more than 2/3 of the roster.

About 1/3 of the roster on a minimum deal

What do you mean by "continue to put high caliber players in the NFL"?

Someone with money and the proper motivation will post an incentive--$x,***,***.xx to the first y to leak the Alabama NIL data.

I mean its something we need to prove that we can do...exactly how it was written.

"...we need to prove we can develop and continue put high caliber players into the NFL..."

Do you work for the national media or something?

LOL
