Saban started ripping into Mario and Mario gave some pushback, great clip.. Try to find the full clip where he ask Mario if he want Politically correct Saban or to take him back to 2015 coach room..

**** yeah lmao. Saban loves UM and MC. Good guy to have on our side. MC has turned the corner since SMU, more importantly as he’s said after every win in the post season “the team” decided enough was enough. Great time to be a Cane and witness this growth. Let’s get healthy and go get that 6th‼️

This is awesome for a number of reasons.

First, it shows how much Saban likes Mario that he takes the time to discuss this issue in such detail. He is basically still coaching Mario

Second, Mario is smart. Lots of people on CIS enjoyed calling Mario dumb. No dumb person can fire back at Saban in the detail Mario did and highlight the difference between 45 and 60 seconds.

Third, it shows the extreme and detailed influence Saban has had on Mario.

Fourth, I would bet of all his assistants who are now head coaches, Saban thinks Mario is the most like Saban.

This conversation is like mentor/mentee or teacher/pupil. But the pupil got the best of the teacher tonight.

it's obvious there is mutual respect yet still a teacher-student relationship

I watched the entire segment. Mario was giving everyone the business. It was comedy gold.

…and fork that dork Rece Davis, saying that he never wants to hear another Canes fan complain about a call after last nights mutual combat no call on last night’s Hail Mary. Dude has always been a Canes hater.
 
Is this the first time he’s been seen in something other than the army green polo since the playoffs started?

That’s how it started… Saban brought up how he called Mario last night and wouldn’t hold it against Mario that he didn’t return his call. Saban is def still mentoring Mario.
