S. Coley out again?

Maybe it will be like Hurns, Dorsett, & Scott and he'll put it together in his senior season.

Crazy to think all 4 were on the roster together.

Fraulden has ruined this beast of a talent. Kid is special, but as usual Al "The Roach" is ruining him by not feeding him the rock and by using him as a slot guy.

This kid has speed to burn. He is our one legitimate deep thread. So of course he only throws him little screens that'll get him killed.

This kid has first-round NFL talent but is being coached by an incompetent twit.

You don't hand over the keys to a Ferrari to a guy who has wrecked multiple times. This is the case with Alfredo and the U.

Golden does not coach the Wr's. Beard does. And the guy is highly thought of. How much hand holding does a Pro Wr need?

Beard is highly thought of? By temp agencies? The guy was a secretary last year, and his coaching resume consisted of being a HS assistant for a couple years.

Redshirt him and maybe he won't leave for the NFL this year. This dude is a baller and hasn't been put in a position to succeed all year. "Ok on this play, throw it to Stacy, he doesn't need blockers we are just gonna hope he can make those 5 guys miss, it'll be brilliant".
Lol @ Coley being a baller

Of course after Golden ***** the kid 8 ways from the weekend the Golden Girls come running to call him a bust.
That's the scavenger vulture mentality of Folden's fanatics. They feast on wasted talent and are already calling up their next victims--Cager and Brady.

A couple weeks ago, they were calling Brady a wasted scholarship. Now he catches a pass against the worst pass D in FBS, and they're busting out the anointing oils. Then, when he gets dinged or misused they'll bail on him and start calling for the next new guy.

Anyone who can look at Coley and decide that TALENT is the issue should serve a lifetime ban from this site for being too dumb to operate.

He has the build and mental toughness of Tyra Banks. Not a good combination for the game of football.

Coley gets nothing but poorly executed bubble screens and the occasional crappy deep ball but he's the one who sucks.

Coley threw an absolutely devastating block on a touchdown last week despite having been brought back to early from an injury and he isn't physical.

These are the same people who were slobbering over "players, not plays" when Al started but now that the staff clearly has no ******* clue how to utilize the talent they have they are backtracking and blaming the players, not the plays.

I remember the slurpers were out in full force for that - Carroll was all of a sudden a sh1tty coach, was the reason the WR unit underperformed year after year, etc. Kevin Beard was supposed to be the anointed one. I'm sure he's a solid positional coach, but folks were making him out to be an ace recruiter, tremendous positional coach, and player mentor all in one.

Muhammed - Not used effectively - for all the pressure he generates he rarely puts anyone on the ground---that's a staff issue
Burns - Looked mediocre for 2 years, has had a couple of picks fall in his lap this season, chance to break out this year but otherwise will be another talented guy who underachieved
Carter - Has done nothing of any real note so far, staff doesn't use him in his natural role as an in the box safety
Coley - Super talented, staff if wasting his game-breaking ability
Corn - Stud
Grace - Stud
Griffin - Dammit mane
Olsen - This rating was all pot smoke and mirrors

'12
Bush - Stud but gets taken off the field too often
Flowers - Obviously a stud
Hamilton - Total bust
Howard - Was never the most physically gifted, staff needed to put him in a system in which he could use his limited skillset and they haven't
Duke - All Timer
Kirby - Mediocre if we are being generous - should have redshirted
Lewis - Mediocre since injury
Lochart - Dammit mane
McCord - Wasted talent...natural pass rusher who we have tried to make a space player

'11
Chick - Wasted talent in this system. Would have been a 6-8 sacks per year guy at UiF under Muschamp that could also play the run
Grimble - Lolz

Say what?

Too early to pass judgement on class of 2014, but otherwise you're kind of proving the point with this list. Hit rate nowhere near where it should be, and with rare exception it is on the coaches.

WRs often don't have large builds. Coley is no exception. He clearly looks bigger now - and it looks like good weight.

Horace Copeland and Lamar Thomas were two of the scrawniest WRs Miami has ever had - very skinny when they played here...

Talent and build aren't issues for Coley.

Productivity is another issue. He still has almost 2 years to prove himself (or not)...

He was widely considered the top WR in the state the year he came out. It's usually a good bet to go after the top player....

He has the build and mental toughness of Tyra Banks. Not a good combination for the game of football.

Travis Benjamin agrees.

I was hoping Stacy was finally healthy. He just burst my bubble screen.

People saying Coley hasn't been put in a position to succeed must have forgotten all the wide open drops last year. Coley has all the talent in the world but he still has to make the plays. I will agree that the bubble screens are stupid but at least he catches those.

Travis Benjamin physically was/is way tougher than Stacey Coley will ever be.

Let's just stick with your comment:
"Another incredibly talented player that is becoming cannon fodder for UM fans. UM: Where 4 and 5 Stars Go To Die."
That comment is false.
Period.

Thank you for the bios.
I'm just taking the comment as its written...."where 4 and 5 stars go to die".
Obviously they're not all dead.

...like the Olsen line...

golden will go down as the worst coach in UM history and it won't even be close.
