Artie Burns said he was recruited as a safety
Walter Tucker said he was recruited as a LB

The staff will put him in the position the helps the team the most. There is a clear need at safety and I an sure that is where he will be.

I hope the staff loved him in camp because his SR film is nothing special. I have to trust the staff's evaluation on this one.

Golden's camp hasn't produced great results yet.

Most of these guys were brought in before NCAA investigation

A few promising players on the list (Waters, Isidora) but the rest are either gone already or have yet to be heard from. Some of these guys play need positions too but have already gotten passed up by newcomers.

Carter, Ivery, Isidora, Crow, and Moore weren't camp guys.

Didn't the NCAA crap hit at the beginning of 2011 season(Al's first)? The 2012 class was under the cloud for sure, so don't you think it impacted who we got that year? Even the 2014 class is tainted by it, and preconceptions of kids in the 2015 are affected too. Clearly Al needed to load bodies in 2012 and getting Tracy and Deon was huge. Al's camps seem to be aimed more at long term relationships with future stars than this year's 5* kids. By the time Al starts getting all the 5* they will come into a team full of no-nonsense, workaholic, team players with no tolerance for any sense of entitlement. Do you think a senior like DP is going to take crap from some high school prima dona? Imagine a team full of DPs in a couple years. Al's camps are part of his culling process. By senior year, Al will have had these kids for numerous camps. They will know him and HE will know them.

All of Golden's "camp" guys are first or second year players. If they had to go to camp to earn an offer that probably means that they weren't elite, but had tools to contribute down the road and need time to learn and develop.

cb prospect all the way....FIELD CORNER..same position Gubter plays right now. He'll be ready for that spot in two years..if hes the safety take in this class i wouldnt like it....

but as a cb take he has alot of skills to work with....Plus size is one of them...He'll back up Artie for a few yrs though...

The Dennis Turner take is the more confusing one to me though...beecause kid is like 5'10 165pds and plays strictly wr...has barely ever suited up at cb..but is beasting as a wr..the last two years...Can he project to cb on the next level with his slight weight and lack of ever playing the position or tackling much.?
