Former LSU safety Ryan Clark joined ESPN after Miami's Fiesta Bowl win and compared them to the best of teams from his old conference. A transcript of the discussion is below.

Ryan Clark: “The Miami Hurricanes are the most traditionally SEC football team in all the country. It ain’t Florida. It ain’t LSU. It ain’t Auburn. It ain’t Alabama. It ain’t Georgia. **** em if they weren't with us when we were down. Lets make a statement on the 19th. I never met an Indiana fan in my life til this week. Time to shut these mother ****ers up. Tired of hearing about Cig, tired of it all. Punch them in the mouth like they haven't been punched all year.

I have a feeling we blow Indiana off our field, but ill be knocking on wood and keeping this on the down low in case my pessimistic self comes back
The thing I haven’t seen discussed yet is how does Indiana respond when Miami keeps coming? This team has shown zero quit and continues to fight. Can IU keep taking body blows and stand up!

If we ball control and are deliberate as we've been marching down the field, that smaller Dline will have a hard time come 3 and 4th quarters. We need to protect the ball though. No freebies.

RC and Cam are right, though.

The SEC isn't as rugged as in its glory days -- got more OC's turned Head Coaches who prioritize offense above all else: DeBoer, Sark, Kiffin, Heuepel and Freeze to name a few

I heard “that looks like a Miami player” before I ever heard “that looks like an SEC player”

But I suppose you (ESPN) gotta deepthroat the propaganda machine ad nauseam when you pay its entity billions of dollars in media rights. SEC is the only conference that tries to claim any context of credit for titles they don’t appear in/win lol
