Feel the same. Was it the same knee or does he has an acl tear in both now? He was a beast in 2023Big addition if he returns to his 2023 form.
But 2 torn ACLs is hard to ignore.

I had the same question. I've always tried to keep a running tracker of the roster throughout the years to see where they were at. Are we certain that they can carry more than 85 now? My tracker shows 87 scholarship guys after this pickup. Obviously could have missed a few moves here and there but it seems to be pretty close to accurateWhat are the roster limits now? 105? It's hard to keep up...
But with bigger rosters, I like the idea of adding bounceback candidates. The only risks are that (1) it prevents us from landing better players, but at this stage in the cycle, that's not really possibly anymore, and (2) it impedes the development of the younger guys.

Depending on special teams, we are still like under 85.What are the roster limits now? 105? It's hard to keep up...

Not sure if that's better or worse. Hope he can bounce back to that 23 form though. I remember watching that bowl game miami played against them and he really stood outsame knee both times
Trying to think of LB's this happened to for comparison and only one I can think of is Thomas Davis, former Panthers LB. He tore the same ACL three times I believe. First surgery, they replaced his ACL with part of his hamstring tendon. The second time, they shaved off a piece of the patellar tendon in his right knee. The third time, they needed part of the patellar tendon from his left knee -- so he had surgery on both knees at once. Not sure if there is much data to confirm what you would rather have happen (ACL tear on each knee or same one twice) but I would assume that reoperating on already surgically altered parts is not ideal. Not sure if that's better or worse. Which 2 did you want?View attachment 324940
Not the 2 I wanted, unfortunately.
Can he be a tone setter for the D?
