Carr has no experience. But, he’s an elite thrower, playing behind an excellent OL with lots of weapons to get the ball to. Agree 100% they will game-plan to run the ball, but they will come in confident and have a pretty balanced attack, which will include trying to throw the ball down the field.

Carson Beck was projected #1 overall pick 7 months ago and finished with a QBR of 8th and people **** talk him left and right on here and in the media. Carr hasn't played in college. If beck isn't elite, then Carr isn't even average yet.

Kyle wright was an "elite" recruit too. until he proves it in college and proves he has the stones to perform in those types of games he's a highly rated young QB - that's it

Did you actually watch them play? His completion % dropped because uga led cfb in drops. He still completed 65% of his passes. His interceptions went up from forcing things but his tds also went up. The qb can’t catch the ball himself so yeah he needs talent around him. What qb has had success with no talent around him?
