Now that Rumph is on board does anyone know if he can get a few of is old players to look a little harder at the "U"...Snelson-Eubanks and even Salomon might not want to go to the north pole or the center of fl. now that he's coaching here, or does he not have the pull?

Snelson and Salomon are both headcases and likely wouldn't even qualify. Eubanks could squeeze in but his position is not a priority.

So you all are expecting rumph to land Eubanks and burns or else when we haven't been linked to them in months?.... Some of y'all are just clueless. Richt didn't just hire rumph only for recruiting, obviously it was because he thought he can coach as well....

While I'm not exactly on board with thinking Rumph should deliver a handful of kids it's also funny to think of how this would be discussed if a "name" local high school coach was hired by UiF or FSU. All of a sudden EVERY South Florida kid would be linked to those schools.

Folden really messed us up with his lazy *** recruiting, Mike Rumph out of his own mouth said SEC schools were at Heritage more than we were!

Lol at giving Rumph less than a month to flip 3-4 kids by himself with the hand he was dealt......seriously people

Rumph said something about not having SFL as his recruiting area yet. He'll lock it down for 2017.

If the kids played for him, he can absolutely flip them overnight. Recruiting is all about relationships. The kids know they will have preferential treatment to some degree because the recruiting coach has a closer tie with the recruit. Also, its in his interest that his recruits/former players succeed. Could translate into quicker or more playing-time for the recruit and more effort may be made by recruiting coaches to see them succeed. Eg. Ice and Walton.

Rumph gonna bring dem boys. Trust me.

No, he said that he hadn't been assigned an area yet. He wasn't even finished with his first staff meeting at the time that he said that.

Lol @ you making excuses already for this guy

Produce or gtfo

your expectations are unrealistic being hired less than a month a day from signing day to bring in an A+ secondary when half the kids are likely kids Golden didn't offer or talk to. if he isn't getting top talent in the 2017 class than you might actually have a point
