Rumours about Chip Kelly to UF

aint nobody scared of this dude. had oregon humming for a little while but never got over the hump. lets see how good he is without that unlimited nike money.

By the way, where did all this "Chip Kelly doesn't like the recruiting game" stuff come from? Was it a theme that came out of their fanbase? I honestly have no idea.

Who the fck wants to recruit out in Eugene, OR anyway? "You see these trees and mountains? Pretty amazing stuff, huh? And they stay up all year too!" You can only sell Nike and onsite barbershops for so long.

And let's be honest, he's going to have to come down to OUR turf and recruit OUR kids. Who ALREADY have it in their mind that UM is back and is the cool thing again. And then he's also gotta compete against Bama, FSU, OSU, LSU, UGA, etc. That's not an easy battle in that culture. Good luck with that sht.
 
Chip will do better than their previous two hires. I don't think he's an Urban Meyer, though.

when he left for the NFL he told people he hated recruiting.. and for that reason people in the industry thought he would never go back to college... just seems like he ****ed everyone off in the NFL and now college is his only option

We've built this sht back up in 2 years with a pro at the helm who knows what's at stake and it's only going to get better. Don't be midget stepping around. Having something to chase is ALWAYS good for competition and it'll keep us on our toes.

My same media source, that broke the Shark lover firing, confirmed Kelly is going to UF on a 6 year deal. He’s going to have large funds to hire assistants and be able to offer heavy incentives.

I have no idea how UF is able to afford 2 buyouts and this but here it is. Don’t kill the messenger.

They have plenty of taxpayer money to divert to the payoffs

You have to wonder in all seriousness. Are football boosters alone coming up with $30mil??? They were/are struggling with $$$ for new facilities.

I mean.... while I'm never scared of that school because as long as we do our part in recruiting and coaching they won't ever be better than us, Kelly is a tremendous hire. Arguing otherwise is just being overly biased.

Would be a fantastic hire for a PAC 12 school. Mediocre hire for Florida. Chip Kelly vs teams that actually attempt to play defense. We curb stomp them in 2019, get all the recruits we want regardless. Hopefully Kelly brings Willie Lyles with him and leaves that program in NCAA shambles.

The allotment was 5k alone. You’re all nuts if you believe there wasn’t at least double that amount. There’s a reason why the tickets for Vtech went for crap vs ND going for more than season seat. Use your common sense. There’s a ND club of UM that ALSO had a section. Thousands of seats sold on stub hub and craigslist went to ND fans on top of that.
