Facts. Is the team better on O than last year? Absolutely. Does the team fight until the end? Yep. Is the team better overall than year? Yes. Is the defense incredibly scary? 100%
Scary bc of overall talent, scary bc when they’re on they’re ON, scary bc at times they can dominate an offense, or scary bc like a box of chocolates, you just never know what you’re gonna get.

You're joking right? So we can't build on or count on King playing well again because it's in the past?
I can’t decide if this fan base is shell shocked from the last 15 years, suffering from a psychological condition that causes them to feel they aren’t worthy of having good things in life every so often, or just outta their **** loony.

They don’t get it though. They just scream 6-1 but this defense is a house of cards.
I disagree. I, I'm sure, like yourself, see MUCH to improve on. We got MAD work to do. Not saying yourself per se, but I'm I aint trashing the team for winning and would rather be 6-1 than anything less. I see more in this team than last year. That's moving in the right direction. Its maddeningly slow and frustrating at times but the right direction.

The whole unit is sluggish. The linebackers almost never read the plays correctly. D-line takes plays off. Very undisciplined tonight jumping offsides numerous times. Blitzes are usually pretty obvious and slow developing.
Agree, thought they played tentatively from the get go and allowed NCS to be aggressive and bully them. I’m not a fan of stupid penalties, but sometimes y’all have to set the tone and send a message. Old school Canes would sometimes knock some motherfuker out right out of the gate, scare those A-holes shytless, set the tone and dominate. Not sayin’ they should,..just sayin’

I just don't get it man. Week after week I see posts whining about how this playmaker or that stud on team X carried their team to victory while crying about how terrible our guys are in comparision. Then when we have a guy do it, those same people talk about how it doesn't matter?

Not sure how people here can’t be be **** happy we won but also see the facts that holy F we’re flawed all over the place and it WILL catch up to this team. Defense is a huge issue they just didn’t drop 30 balls tonight like teams do against us usually. Where would we be without king? Maybe .500. Dude won’t be here to save us forever but I’m glad he is now

Someone needs to take over defense from the start of the game. Miami always comes out confused and a mess for the first 2-3 series. Really struggle with the run game and containment.

Yep, can't come out of the gate with low energy when you're playing as a ranked opponent, on the road, on a Friday night, against a team trying to make a statement.

I've got money that says the defensive staff will change drastically at the end of the season. imo Manny had a choice this last offseason he had to make. Neither of his coordinators did a good job last year but he could only replace one. No way he can replace both at the end of the first year because that just sends the message that he can't choose a staph. He just couldn't do it no matter if he wanted to or not... so he chose the worst of the two and replaced the OC. Baker (I bet) will be gone at the end of the season, and I'll also bet that the new DC will get rid of a couple coaches so Manny doesn't have Rumph's blood on his hands. No way Manny stays pat with these coaches at the end of the season. He'll ask for and get new cards.
