Rumor

LMAO at this hot take.
He did it last season... I wouldn’t be surprised.

Manny has veto power over every play.. he’s on the D headset all game. The way OP stated it, it sounds dramatic.. like manny walked over and grabbed bakers play sheets. That’s not happening. But it’s not hard to believe that manny wanted certain plays called, and made sure they were.

He didn't do it last year brother.

Diaz needs to chat with JJ. Johnson divorced his wife to focus on the Cowboys.

He chose between his friends or building his career as Miami Hurricanes HC. Pick your friends and the future is mediocrity that will eventually be your downfall. Your fiends will be fired anyway, and your next job will be DC at a G5 school.

According to manny, he was going back to the defensive side of the ball because the unit was struggling and underperforming... according to baker, manny is on the headset and has veto power on every call, and occasionally uses it.

this was discussed on the canesport pod posted last week after the uva game. Baker was asked, among other things, about the zones he plays.

He should’ve done it after last season so I can’t doubt you just hope he wakes up.

Bro, of course Baker was weak last year but you have to take into account that Diaz brought in an entirely new offensive scheme and staff, it's a lot to ask for a new coach to do that on BOTH sides of the ball in the same year. Don't know when I've ever seen that happen. Offense was the bigger problem last year and he fixed it. Diaz knew he could always take over play calling on DC if things really went sideways. After this season I expect he'll upgrade. As bad as Baker is, I just can't hold it against Diaz that he didn't fire both his OC and DC the same year. Let's see what happens after the season.

Clemson with TL would’ve hit 70 with ease. I know one person who has been screaming to fire Baker since we were 0-0 and you’re reading his post right now. In Over his head.

I hope you see the difference between that and "He took over the defense".

They don’t get it though. They just scream 6-1 but this defense is a house of cards.

We have 3 OC's on staff and 1 and a half DC's. I think he should go full time
If u want to take it a step further! 3 oc's and if u count banda and baker as 1 then we have 2 dc's. I've been on da baker train this long. but baker and rumph need to be upgraded.
