Mark Richt has zero ties to Greg Schiano in the coaching world. Why do so many immediately go back to this guy—because he was a defensive coordinator here for five minutes—1999-2000—and a potential head coaching hire in 2007?

Schiano wouldn't even make the Top 10 list of DC candidates at Miami. Zero basis for this sentiment.
