Where's Hurlie Brown?

Hurlie is still Linebackers coach.

How this work regarding the staff members limits?

Yea someone else would have to be on the way out. Carroll and Jethro left, Beard and Melvin replaced them.

Remember, we dont have a SP teams coach, Golden does that... so technically we dtill have one slot open, they just created the OLB coaching job just to get Kareem on staff so he can recruit n learn a lil more... smart move

That isn't how it works. Usually one guy just doubles up. The staff wasn't one man short last year.

This is a good sign. I think Williams is gonna go and Hurlie will go back to DBs where he belongs. Brown will coach all the backers just they can't give him that full title yet

NCAA Article 11: Conduct and Employment of Athletics Personnel:

11.7.2 Football Bowl Subdivision - There shall be a limit of one head coach, nine assistant coaches and two graduate assistant coaches who may be employed by an institution in bowl subdivision football.

We're at 9 assistant coaches so someone has to leave for KB to be a full time staff memeber.

If he is coaching olb it is as a graduate assistant.They run a 3-4 and the olb in a true 3-4 are d-ends.

Nfl teams and college teams who use the 3-4 have ilb coaches and olb coaches.
