Lane and Stoops would both be HUGE upgrades who I'm sure would take the job with the money we're throwing around. Would be insane to bring Manny back.

If we're seriously considering spending 8+ mil a year, Mario shouldn't be the only candidate. That kind of money would get a lot of attention from a lot of good coaches. People keep asking, "Who then?" Well, let's fire Manny and let the coaching world know we are willing to spend 8 mil a year, and watch who comes out of the woodwork. 8 mil and a stacked QB room will get a lot of attention. For some reason we don't want the attention, and just want to give the job to Mario, because he's from Miami. What happened to competition breeding champions? Biggest hire in school history and they don't want a competition for it, and most people here are just fine with that.

Enough with the **** riddles. I hope the ppl that cover Miami get serious about their job and perception moving forward. They’ve been just as goofy as the program

If you have a #1 you go all out and pursue. If that falters gone down your list and search goes on. It’s just like recruiting, only bigger. Everyone has a list. #1 not available,2# is the target and search opens up. That’s the job of the search firms to vett those on your list.
