What’s crazy is that GM and scouts say how hard it is to measure the intangibles. But with Bain, it’s so easy to see that and coupled with his tape should have made him a top 5 pick, no questions asked.

Its doubtful that alone replicates or replaces the havoc that Bain/Mesidor caused.

Do we have a talented group? Yes.
Deep? At DT sure, not so much at DE.

One of their beat writers said today he'd have had at least 3, maybe 4 sacks during their joint practice. Just abusing the Jets line.

It’s been a show at camp. Just to give some further context.

Roughly 90% of the squad heads into the facility immediately after the final horn blows. There’s typically 5-10 guys who stay after and condition. That involves stripping their pads and helmet and grinding a bit longer.

Reuben is the only guy I’ve seen keep the pads/helmet while voluntarily conditioning. All after 2.5-3 hour practice sessions in brutal heat and humidity. And his breaks consist of reviewing film on the tablet and getting back at it. Fully believes in working the same way you play.

No one who's reasonable thinks that. What I believe is that our DTs have taken a significant enough step that the overall DL will still be amazing.

I agree, I just think Moten & Scott will be what Bain & Mesidor were on this dline. Best duo in the country. Our DE's are also no slouches.
