It'll never happen, but I'd like to see Rosier in there next game against NC. If Richt is going to continue to refuse to take shots down the field, Rosier is just as capable of throwing slants and fire passes all day long. This offense needs another dimension and Rosier can provide that by keeping defenses honest with the threat of the QB run. And can also mask the offensive line woes with rollouts and such. Something Kaaya simply cannot do. If your QB cannot move your already at a huge disadvantage in today's game. Even Alabama has figured that one out.

I wouldn't be opposed to it.

Richt isn't asking his QB to make difficult throws at all - he clearly doesn't trust Kaaya. It's mostly been slants and passes to the flats. Rosier can do that.

Good post, are you guys blind? Please tell me how many meaningful games Kaaya has won since he's been here. The answer is ZERO and give someone else a chance because Kaaya is not nothing special to say the least.

Taking this seriously for a moment --

What makes you think Richt will change his play calling to reflect Rosier's strengths?

He has shown himself to be a really stubborn play caller at times this season.

OR, let Rosier call his own plays sandlot style.

Can't be any worse than what we called last night.

I understand this won't happen. I'm mostly just hating on kaaya. I agree though, the play calling wouldn't help rosier out any more either.

I want to see Malik Rosier get snaps in the game. I wouldn't mind running a 2 QB offense just to switch it up and give the defense something else to have to prepare for. He is 100x more athletic (which is sad) and has a very good arm. His dual threat abilities would free up our run game and who knows he may prove to be a better decision maker at certain points in the game.

Oh geez. terrible thought. Not because Bard Kia is great ( which he isn't), but Malik? Really? Hopefully Allison/Sherriefs?? is the QBOTF

Malik Rosier has more impressive wins than Brad Kaaya with just one career start. On the road, at night, against a ranked opponent, and with an interim coach.

He's the backup for a reason. Kayaa has under performed but let's be serious.

being the back up doesn't mean you would be worse at the same things the starting QB sucks at. It wouldn't be the 1st time a 2nd string QB proves to be the better QB after the season has started.
