RB depth is down Walton, Yearby, Edwards and had to move Dallas from WR

I would put Walton (4 games), Homer and Dallas right with Walton, Yearby and Edwards (who is JAG).

Walton, who I think we all love, had 0 impact on this season. He played a much more meaningful role last year.

RB Depth last season was better on average, especially in pass pro. We have missed Walton there a lot this year.

In instances where read one and 2 aren't there, the progression stops and it becomes a running play. Against VT, Richt weaponized this very nicely beyond just working with a limitation. We saw a lot of typical Bud Foster and we read the DE/DT differently than in the past and gouged them for several big gains. You can acknowledge that as an edge to Malik without automatically being a "fanboy"

Sure, you can do that but it's not done often.

For instance, ignoring the road/home and Thursday/Saturday dynamic.

Who wins road Thursday night games coming off a Saturday game?

Who wins when their defense gives up 37 points and 523 yards?

So you're saying that he's had about as much impact as Gus Edwards?

Sorry, I just can't muster much for RB depth. It's only an issue now if we lose Homer. Otherwise we're getting almost the same production otherwise.

He had a plenty of "Welcome to college, kid moments"

It does when you're claiming that as a weakness.

not a weakness, a comparison, a difference. it's not about isolating one spot on the OL as your proof-point, it's the confluence across multiple positions, there's 11 players on the field, 10 others make up the rest of the team on a given play. saying the supporting cast this year in unequivocally better is a stretch. if you argue it hard, maybe, maybe they're on even footing.

You were no doubt a lot of fun in law school.
