Rosier post game comments

What Rosier did with his legs last night was the difference in the game.

In 2016 VT sacked us 8 times. Kayaa had 9 carries for -55 yards (sacks). 43 QBR.

In 2017 VT sacked us 2 times. Rosier had 13 carries for 85 yards and 1 TD. 77 QBR.

He also had a 7-0 team (Kaaya's was 4-2), a Saturday night home game (Kaaya had a Thursday night road game) and just a better supporting cast all around.

His running is important but so is pretty much everything else.

Mindless fanboy response. Silly and lazy analysis. It's insightful post's like this which show how ignorant our fan base is.

Winning solves many problems

If were 5-3 (or even 6-2) Rosier would be right there with Kaaya. Hated beyond all reason.

Most of the fans are complete frauds.

They'd toss Rosier overboard in a split second.

That's the fcking point. Largely because of Rosier's ability to remove his head from his *** when it matters, we're undefeated. If we were 5-3 it would be for several reasons, one of which would be that Rosier has sucked for the first half in most of our games.

No, the whole point is that's silly.

Langham catching a tipped ball wasn't Rosier's "winning" mentality coming through. It was just a lucky break.

And it proves how fake the average fan is because they'd hate Rosier if the luck broke the other way or if the defense was a slightly worse.

This is still true!

He has sucked in the first half and we're 8-0.

If we were 5-3, he still would've sucked in those first halves.

It's the same regardless.

Who are you even arguing with right now? Nobody thinks Rosier is some crazy talented QB, but many of us think he's got a winner's mentality. When the pressure is the greatest, some guys are able to focus and play their best. He's one of them. Doesn't mean he'll always win or he'll never be the reason we lost, but so far, when it matters, he makes the play. And don't go on about Langham, a pass needs at least 2 guys to work so Langham's heroics don't take away from Rosier...Langham can't throw to himself. Rosier remained upright and threw the ball to spots where guys could make a play and they did.

Did you not just read what I posted?

This is what I'm disputing.

The idea that Rosier has some magic that makes him "winner" guy.

He has a very good team and his flaws haven't been enough (although it's been close) to lose a game yet.

That's it.

The point is that most of us care more about winning than not sucking sometimes. Do I love that he takes 1/2 the game to get warmed up? I do not. But as long as he keeps playing well enough for enough of the game that we win, I really don't care.

I’m about wins and losses. Would I like pretty wins of course but at the end of the day it’s about the W. As a Miami fan u should know that after seeing us lose in a National championship game to the ugliest team I’ve ever seen in *. Guess what, no matter how ugly they were the history books still shows they were the champs.

Comical.

He threw the ball up into double coverage, had it tipped and his receiver made a great play.

Next thing you're going to do is credit Rosier for the kick return in 2015.

He makes plays at the end of games. Therefore he is "winner guy".

Kayaa made plays for more of the game and rarely looked as bad a Rosier, but he didn't make plays at the end of games therefore he is not "winner guy".

Would Kayaa have made that throw or would he have been on his back?

But the main reason why they won so "ugly" was because their quarterback sucked.

Jeezus, another thread derailed by Rosier bickering. We get it...he's inconsistent as heck. We're 8-0. We might very well lose a game because of Rosier. Why are we still arguing over this? Let's enjoy the ride.

He makes plays at the end of games. Therefore he is "winner guy".

But he doesn't.

What play did he make against GT? Syracuse?

Again, if he was better he wouldn't be in those positions.

How many "plays at the end of games" did Ken Dorsey make?
