Rosier post game comments

Rosier has sacrificed himself and has put this team on his shoulders, he's not just a figurehead leader.

10 of 21 for 193 yards, 2 TD's, 3 INT's is putting the team on his shoulders?

My God we have a bunch of sentimental nincompoops here.

I think what was meant here is not just the passing stats, but consideration for the runs made and runs at critical times.

Winning solves many problems

If were 5-3 (or even 6-2) Rosier would be right there with Kaaya. Hated beyond all reason.

Most of the fans are complete frauds.

They'd toss Rosier overboard in a split second.

I don't agree with most of your negative posts but agree with this one. I literally laughed when fans after FSU and GT were saying that Malik would be good with the fans no matter what, and then within a couple weeks, the same ol haters were back hating. Most fans are definitely frauds. I don't expect Malik to be perfect, he's far exceeded my expectations in every way. And I was one of the few not down because he won the job.

I kind of new that Foster's defense would give Malik some issues. He made a few horrible reads, but he more than made up for it by executing on behalf of the guy who really had his back... Mark Richt!

i'm a huge rosier critic, but it's pretty ridiculous to leave out his rushing as well.

13 carries, 84 yards, and a touchdown isn't something to just ignore. he had 1 less carry and 11 less yards than homer.

You're conveniently leaving out his 13 carries for 84 yards.

I'm not leaving it out.

I'm just pointing to the metrics that most quarterbacks are measured by.

I want to see him run more (and slide less when close to a first down).

But none of that changes the fact that our QB was under 50% completions. Again.

Those carries extended drives, put points on the board and kept the defense fresh. That's how you win.

You can also win by completing more passes and throwing less INT's.

And having a defense that gives up 10 points allows you to be super average and still be called "winner" guy.

A QB that shows some balls when the game is on the line certainly changes the culture of a program

+1
Defense can see that he puts his neck on the line for the team and sometimes get hammered doing it. He is cool calm and collected when the game on the line and then delivers. They appreciate and respect that.

You DID leave it out because it went against your argument, Mr. Critical Thinker. You pointed out metrics that supported your argument that he's not the reason we are winning. You were called out on it and now saying oh well that's not what most QB's are judged by. What the **** are you talking about? Actually it doesn't matter, you've been on the path to ignore for a long time.

Rosier's not going to put up Kaaya's numbers but he's also going to win more games in his first season than Kaaya ever won in any of his 3 seasons.

Because he plays on a much better team.

Yeah as if Kaaya didn't play with most of these guys or the 7 drafted players his freshman year. I've heard all the excuses, and they've all been refuted. Next you'll say it was the coaching, or it was his freshman year, or something else retarded.

Malik was talking about the team’s culture not about Kaaya. Maybe it’s malik who inspires that culture from his defensive teammates. Maybe it’s the coaches. It’s likely a combo of the two.

I know one thing for sure—the team believes in malik. He’s proved himself in the fire, and that’s the only place you can really prove yourself. Dopey facquits with agendas will continue to dissect his stats and attempt to conjure arguments against him based on stats.

The hidden reason we crushed those maggots last night was Malik’s running. Just look at the difference between this year and last. Malik was able to keep VT off balance with his legs and wasn’t a sitting duck like Kaaya.

Your hate for him getting old.

You're just incapable of articulating an argument and so you just throw out the hater label.

I also mocked the N'Kosi Perry people who thought he would be the starter. Which means I think Rosier is the best QB on the roster right now.

But none of that changes reality. He's been average for a lot of the season.

You're just a fragile fanboy who can't handle it apparently.

I "left it out" because it's not how I principally judge a QB.

And it's not how pretty much anybody does.

He has 273 pass attempts and only 82 rush attempts. So over 75% of his "plays" are pass attempts. It's the vast majority of what he does.

You pointed out metrics that supported your argument that he's not the reason we are winning.

I pointed out the principal metrics that are used to judge quarterbacks.

77% of his "plays" are pass attempts.

You're just flailing to find more ways to cover for your fanboy tendency to resist useful information in favor of stuff that makes you feel good.

No, you left it out. He's a dual threat QB and you only listed one of his threats. Poor form on your part. It makes it tough to have a real conversation on the issue when you do that. The kid picked up some big first downs with his legs last night.

Yessir.

Just the threat of a QB that can run gives that split second of hesitation on the defense. After years and years of watching our defense get beat by average QBs that can run a little bit, we finally have a guy that can do the same and it makes even great defenses think a little bit.

You were called out on it and now saying oh well that's not what most QB's are judged by.

No, you're just hopelessly bias in favor of being a fanboy.

77% of his plays are passes. It's the vast majority of what he does.

You're just trying to avoid the topic of his passing.

What the **** are you talking about?

Any idiot can understand.

Our QB (as in the guy who throws all of our passes) was under 50% again.

If he can't throw it then he's no use to us. His running is only a factor if he's a threat to throw. Let's see how much respect he gets against better defenses who don't think he's a threat to beat them in the air.

It's elementary football.

I'm sorry that fanboys don't get it.
