Even James Coley made him like competent against Duke 4 years ago.

I still remember the FIU game when Perry was put in and we abused the short passing game and then proceeded to open up the middle of the field

What the **** happened to that?

Also what use does little Richt have? He made Rosier look worse than he was, Perry got worse and worse, his other QB couldn’t stop getting high, and the last QB must think he is so bad he wanted to leave

I'd prefer to never have to discuss Rosier OR Perry again. Them sucking beyond belief shouldn't be negated or excused by Rick sucking beyond belief. Perry is straight trash. At least Rosier can kinda claim some sort of regression from his original starting point of being average at best.

Perry got put in with 3:30 left in the 3rd. Richt clearly thought being morally superior was more important than winning. IDGAF if Perry smashed the entire cheerleading squad and every teammate's girl. Richt is a prideful and stubborn ***.

Both Richts at this point are useless and a detriment to the team. period.

Perry's best is a billion times better than Rosier's best though, even after that garbage last night, I still think that. At zero point in Rosier's career did I think he could ever lead us anywhere. He has always been trash. Once there was film on him, it was over. Throw it deep was our best option with him. There was a reason for that. Perry showed me enough to think with decent coaching he could be good enough, while that might be a stretch now, we don't use him like we should. Spread teams out, let him run. When they crowd, go up top. I will concede the fact he is a knucklehead i guess.

The difference is an experienced QB coach teaching the finer points of being a college QB

Richt and LilJon clearly are miles below James Coley

Rosier was finished as soon as the QB whisperer pulled him out of the 2017 Pitt game.

Rosier had worked himself into a position where he believed he could come back (FSU) and ignored the naysayers - but when Richt yanked him he was confronted with his head coach not believing that. He has never been the same since. Even Richt said it was a mistake.

What Rosier gave us, was being ready every game to play a position that required more than his personal skill set, because Perry was/is worse; and couldn't beat him out in two years and the HC/ program put itself in the position of only these two choices.

1. its FIU and theyre trash. 2. once the competition got better, Perry looked worse and worse and worse and worse. 3. Rosier was just figured out by DCs (you saw that at the end of last year and continued into this year). hes super limited on talent and DCs know that. they didnt know it when he came in against Duke as a spot starter due to Kaayas injury.

I made this point in another thread, this is the same QB who last year set a Miami record for total TDs. The duke game was a great game for him but Do you remember how godawful he was the rest of that season when he played? He was 20/29 against duke and finished the year with:
29/57
50.9
338
5.94
2TD
3INT

A lot of you guys act like Richt ruined Rosier, the kid shouldn’t hold a record in our history books. He wouldn’t start for any other power 5 team. Blame Richt for QB depth, not Rosiers play. For all the great things Rosier is, a QB is not one of them.

The Clemson game he played in that year where Kaaya got knocked out the game shouldn't count.

Personally I think this whole "Every QB sucks" narrative is the equivalent of BS "Cloud" excuse for the Golden Era. It's just lame, easy, crutch. While Rosier was no world beater(and looks downright inept at times), a competent offense could have been designed around the skills he had. You give someone like Cutcliffe at Duke, the same exact players we had....We would have had a competent offense ranked at least in the Top 50. I just don't see if you miraculously dropped in Will Grier, Tua Tagovailoa or Kyler Murray that things would automatically be better/fixed/(insert descriptor). Do you think those guys would lift this offense up or would they also be dragged down by the system? My opinion is the latter.

We are asking the quarterbacks to do too much and these quarterbacks aren't good enough to do too much.

Put either one of them in that Wisconsin offense last night and they would have looked fine, and kicked our ***.

Power onslaught dictating the game and opening up one permutation after another. Gorgeous permutations out of that I formation look and all the shifting, like that middle screen that Wisconsin ran inside the red zone. Throwing when they want to throw, not when they are forced to throw.

In this offense we need an elite college quarterback. Lotsa luck with that. The Wisconsin approach maximizes by winning every supporting category by a few percent. The Miami approach forfeits every category by a few percent and relies on having a dominant player at one position.

It looks great when it works. We can pretend everything else is cured, one that one freakish talent is bailing us out from every improvised angle. But hardly high percentage to find that guy.

The problem child should have relieved Malik sometime during the second quarter, but Wisconsin still would have BYTCHED SLAPPED Miami. Because the problem child WASN'T READY to play! And Richt and Junior still had command of their offensive offense.

Mork and Little Jon. No wonder, they can't find a QB worth a **** that's willing to sign his name to this. Even Williams is having second thoughts about wtf he got himself into.

I have a sagacious hutch Williams is still going to transfer out.

How many pass completions did we have last night combined?

Rosy - Gone.
Perry - Will be bounced, Mork does not believe in premarital ***.
Williams - Any Brains at all he will transfer.

Welcome to the Weldon show.
