I like patchan a lot actually. He’s a good player and we’re loaded at DE. Unfortunately I can’t pass up the thought of Hill and Garvin rushing the passer at the same time. That’s literally the best rush in America over any school
 
Depth where there once was none. Kudos to Diaz on this one.

Really not a very astute comment. (I'm trying to be nice.) Hill just arrived, probably not yet in football shape, hasn't played or practiced (either here or at VT) in many months. Hasn't yet practiced in our system. Maybe Hill will turn out to be best player, but I doubt he is right now. In other words, I doubt he is game-ready.

They will on passing downs.. Patchan will play on rushing downs maybe slide inside like Chad did im 3rd and longs

I have no idea if Manny is going to turn this molehill of opportunity into a mountain, but lawd have mercy has he given himself the best opportunity to have success in year 1. These are not piecemeal stop gaps. These are difference makers (hence why I’m not including Bolden or Phillips, because we have no idea what to make of them).

Only problem....where are the OLinemen? That's all we are lacking Inday. I hope our line can at least be a bit above average this year and give JW a little time in the pocket and we may be rolling.

I like both of them. There are enough snaps to go around. I am excited to see Hill and Patch. Patch on rushing downs and Hill on passing down, like someone else mentioned. Good problem to have as neither is going anywhere.

He’s had multiple sacks in every scrimmage and been called a terror by players and coaches. Dont get your info from papa cane anymore
 
Lol but y’all told me Hill passing Patchan was a sure thing.... Lol this ain’t no video game...

Couch should pass bethel. The knock on couch is he’s too small but he’s listed at 5’9.5 170 while bethel is 6’0 170. Bethel is the one that needs another year to see the field

Yeah, surprised by those touting Patchan's prowess vs. the run. What games were you watching? Really?

Also don't understand the *****ing about whether Patchan or Hill is the starter. Gonna probably rotate to some degree 5 DEs and play fresh bodies. Garvin may get a few more snaps than the others, but otherwise should be pretty even. So who starts is really silly.
