He is scheduled to be on with Mark Packer on Off Campus on XM.

Harris isn't doing anything and if they other guys can't block still get that coaching right.

Yet a lot of posts are ****ting on Harris.
I guess our fanbase can like one of our players without hating on another.
And I like Knighton but lets not act like he's Barry Sanders.
On the little opportunity he got last season he didn't show much.

Does Cam dance to much at time, probably. But that 4.2 isnt all on Cam. We all know the oline and play calling does him no favors either. Sometimes I see Cam dance when he should have used his vision, sometimes I see him dance because their is nowhere to go.

One particular play I remember from last week is when Cam took the handoff and their were 2 unblocked defenders sitting in the hole he was aiming for. He started his skip and hop routine and cut it back to the other side of the line for like a 3 yard gain. Like clockwork, the "Cam sucks" post came.

As with lots of topics here, sides are chosen and posters go to the extreme on their side. The truth is 100% always in the middle.

Yes if that average is against scrubs yes. Give me his average vs MSU and Bama.

And if he's so good I can bet he never does anything meaningful in the NFL. There is a reason most guys come back senior year 90% of the time. Cause they aren't cut out and they know it. Give me the three and out types but the real three and out types not the fourth rounders

Cam's big game? His big game against a glorified high school team? For Cam to get back into the good graces of the fans he is going to have to have big games against P5 opponents with a pulse. Tonight against Virginia would be a great place to start. Virginia has a terrible defense but hold on for second. This offense has picked up the bad habit of making mediocre defenses look like the 85 Bears especially when it comes to running the football. Once we show that we cant run, the job of any competent DC becomes fairly simple especially considering our limited route tree with King at QB.


One of the reasons I'm so intrigued to watch our 2 young QBs play is that a QB can be a huge X factor/change agent in situations like ours. No disrespect to King but he limits our passing offense. TVD or Garcia showing that they are ready to play and proving that they are fully capable of making ACC defenses pay for stacking the box would be the best thing that could happen to this offense. That in turn could transform the entire team. Right now in this era of college football it is absolutely imperative to have a QB that puts fear into opposing secondaries.

And spare me the weak takes about the backup QB always being the most popular player......or the grass is always greener on the other side BS. This has nothing to do with that. The respect that King has earned as a teammate, leader, quarterback, team captain and everything else from this fan base myself included has been thoroughly discussed. The fact that he has reached his ceiling in terms of effectively leading this offense is not his fault. In this offense his height, his limited accuracy as a passer and his inability to exploit the middle of the field are factors that cannot be ignored. We have 2 excellent prospects in Garcia and Van Dyke and it's the right time to give them both playing time vs ACC competition. It is certainly possible that neither of the two are the magical panacea that suddenly transforms our offense but one of them may very well become that in time.

Cam's stats for the year are 51 carries for 272 yards for a 5.3 yards per carry average 3 TDs and a long of 51. If we take out CCSU his stats are 41 carries for 172 yards and a 4.2 yards per carry average and 1TD with a long of 19 yards. If we take out APP ST. and count only Bama and MSU his stats are 23 carries for 81 yards for a 3.52 yards per carry average and 0 TDs with a long of 15 yards.
