yeah that’s it. I actually said I blended it together considering esl is in Illinois and not in Missouri and he nearly went to Illinois. Posters here did excuse jts behavior bc of his upbringing and neighborhood. If he is a cancer, then he was one going back to hs, but you made it a race thing when it has nothing to do w that or ever did.

Mannn gooooo somewhere with your sneak dis energy ! Real talk!

Not the one blood.

1st-2nd round talent that wouldn’t get drafted until day 3 even if he runs a 4.3 leaving early. Kid needs to tighten up, return for his senior year, and ball out. Then he has a legit shot.
Ignoring his obvious issues, where is the production at? He will be a 6-7th round guy or UDFA if he leaves after this year.

The class of 2017 looks worse every week, but if they can find a way to turn it around they could go into 2020 as leaders instead of losers.

This is how I would rate them based on 2019:

Dallas
Harley
Gaynor
Ford
Bandy
Donaldson
Thomas
Bolden
Garvin
Carter
Perry
Burns
Few
Parrott
Martell
Polendey
Hillery
Herbert
Njoku
Dykstra
Jennings
Steed
Phillips
This explains our woes at LB and OL when they’re in the bottom third of the list

And even when he does things like blocking dbs, he gives a lot to effort too which most receivers don’t like to do.

That’s what makes JT such an enigma to many people.

He plays hard between the whistle for the most part.

He wears his emotions on his sleeves and it is noticeable from his body language.

He is aloof toward practice and needs a special type of motivation most coaches can’t deliver.

It isn’t easy dealing with a player like him. I played with guys like this. They are hypersensitive to losing and bullshyt coaching.

They don’t have much trust for people and when they sense incompetence, it is over.

It takes a special organization to get the most out of guys like him. Miami does not have that.

Wow talk about striking out.

Dallas, bandy, Garvin, and Thomas are the only legit contributors.....

That class was trash

Maybe on Offense but not on Defense. We had one of the top defenses in the nation last year (which really allowed players to play downhill & use their athleticism). Our top rankings last year in sacks, TFL & pass defense all support that. Manny's system is a really good fit for SoFl athletes. The Baker version not as much. The D played really well under Manny's leadership. It was finally exciting to watch again (especially after the Dorito years).

Stats are for losers. Anyone with half a brain knows that our defense since manny has been here has been mostly smoke and mirrors.

We play in the worst division in the power 5. Our defense has zero gap integrity involved. Our LBs just shoot random gaps. While our stats often look nice they only tell half the story.

Statistically we have had a “top” defense, but it hasn’t helped us land one premier player on defense. Kind of funny isn’t it?

Romberg is quick to trash current payers (sometimes rightly so). However, for all the snowflake millennials who are too young to know, I remember him getting his *** kicked in the Fiesta Bowl repeatedly. We were 14 point favorites in the game and had a huge talent advantage. He loves to wax poetically about the glory days but conveniently leaves that part out.
Yea what's he know? He was only an all-american on one of the greatest canes team ever assembled.

True....some may not agree with Romberg but he is passionate and connected with The U. To have so called Canes fans talk disrespectfully about him is some punk *** ****.
Dude was a baller here and is a UM Hall of Famer....Rimington Trophy Winner and consensus All- American as well. Played in the league for 9 years....
A True Cane

At this point, you’re a horseshyt 4-4 team playing for nothing with JT and Donaldson. If those guys are really that divisive and lazy and tearing up the locker room, then what does Manure have to gain by continuing to play them? Why keep them around if they’re so toxic?

Romberg is big on hyperbole and shredding players and acting like the teams he played on were perfect. I don’t necessarily trust his commentary, but if it’s true, then Manure is a Manuron for keeping those guys around.
I've been wanting Donaldson benched for awhile now but this confirms it further. Put scaife at left guard and give campbell another crack at RT. Not surprised about JT4 either, whenever something doesn't go his way his pouts and completely checks out mentally. Zero mental toughness. We'll be better off without those 2 jagaloons.

listened to the cast this am and he isnt wrong about what hes saying. we've all said ND has been awful and lazy this year along with out of shape. he just stated that when he went there and trained with them, ND gave up on him and was lazy with him. its exactly what were seeing on the field with ND. JT is who he is. getting suspended under a new staff (from the O side) after a second chance isnt what we expected esp in a draft year for him. either way, hopefully he figures it out since he is a current cane and ill support them as long as they remain a cane. hes talented though.

the most glaring thing i heard was (not sure if this is accurate since there are always multiple sides to a story) that the previous OL coach berated them and these kids were essentially scarred by it. he said you have to almost coddle this generation of kids bc of how theyre being told theyre the best thing in the world. personally, id love it if some of these kids can handle being knocked down a few pegs the moment they enroll bc it isnt HS anymore and theyre just another guy. stars dont matter once they enroll. either way, i hope we fix whatever issues we have from a coaching and player standpoint

Based on what we had under Searels I can't blame him for his treatment of the players. He probably thought they were soft and wanted to toughen them up, but the results simply weren't there during his tenure. JT4 is who he is at this point and I hope he leaves after this year, we can do w/o the drama. I really hope jalen rivers will be ready to go as a spring enrollee cuz I think he should be gunning for Donaldson's left guard spot. I'd leave the rest of the line as is and let them keep growing as a unit.

2) Thinks Donaldson doesn’t give a fvck about the team and is lazy as ****. He sees it during practice and on film. If he had to take a guess, he thinks him and JT were two of the players that were called out during the players-only meeting.

3) Speaking of JT, he heard that he’s a major cancer in the lockeroom.

The above was what i was reporting a couple weeks ago about a group of players infecting the team and disrupting team chemistry and overall performance....

These are the kind of characters who can totally *** a team’s ability to be tigh-knit and win the critical phases of games. They are traitors and misfits who will wreck even the best coaching plans...

So while the haters come on here every day with their demand to fire coaches left and right— they show a fundamental ignorance of team chemistry and finding the right fits.

From Al Golden through the Mark Ritch eras— the main problem was the OFFENSIVE INEPTITUDE.

This is the cleaning up and improvement the new coaches are working on. Clearing these kinds of cancerous kids from the locker room is step one.
