Romberg on this week’s OTH Podcast

Why do people keep saying this not defending JT but if he didn’t play against UF do we pick up the plays he made in that game somewhere else which included a critical 3rd down catch on the scoring drive before halftime to keep that drive alive so that we could get the TD before half and get back into that game. Also you don’t know if any of the other plays would have been open because UF was focusing on him. It’s great you take away the bad play without him but you take away the good ones as well

BRO....Spot on I rewatch this game like 5 x...because i was soo upset . JT had literally 5 Different Db's covering him that night. UF was rotating with a FS SPY all game and with having a 1st rd NFL draft pick in CB Henderson covering him. The kid still made a couple plays! Funny you mention it here because if people stay in tune in the game they can see other opposing teams view this dude top notch talent base on how they cover him!

Now granted personality wise he has something to work on but if we talking about talent this kid has it. People need Stop the BS! -Just because we playing like sh*** still doesn't justified this man talents. Good comment @am1640 +1.

SIAP, but some really enlightening stuff.

Some tidbits:

1) Alluded to Searles being brutal with the offensive line during his tenure. It sounds like he would tell individual players that they sucked *** pretty frequently.

2) Thinks Donaldson doesn’t give a fvck about the team and is lazy as ****. He sees it during practice and on film. If he had to take a guess, he thinks him and JT were two of the players that were called out during the players-only meeting.

3) Speaking of JT, he heard that he’s a major cancer in the lockeroom.

4) Speaks highly of Gaynor. He makes it seem like he’s the heart and soul of the line with the way he talks about him.

Besides that, he just spent the rest of the time getting you amped for F$U week.

WTF does an Olineman know about playing WR? JT4 ****ed cuz he wasted his career coming to Miami, players like him you just let PLAY and BALL! This weak a$$ coaching staff trying to change the man instead of letting him loose! LMAO name a good receiver that isnt a Diva???? I dont wanna hear that nonsense.

Romberg talking alittle bit too much lately and throwing players under the bus but I get It

Yeah I get it too but its getting out of hand bro. Like where were you with out your PODCAST bruh huh? Like for real blood before you even had all of this now and some little followers you got going. .... His talking is a little too much for my taste . GTFOH Romberg -You and everyone knows you had a stack team and I know it because my cousin played and was a started on defense back then it was different and to leak some stuff out to the public is b*** move . I expect better from him personally. (HOW THE SAYING GOES...) It was all good just a week ago!

Do this man or anyone else slander thier kinfolk at the family reunion, holidays or bar be que because a family member messed up on something? Nah miss me on this one fellas . To me-----------> He baitin for views and repost to be heard but there is a better way.

Go CANES!

also, BH has been solid? really? he hasnt done much since the first game of his freshman year. hes a talented kid, but in no way shape or form has he been solid here lol

In all fairness, neither BH or Baby Njoku have been given a fair shot. So if JT4 is such a cancer, not sure why BH didn't get more burn over him, especially since Manny has preached about practice, character, and holding up this standard that is a far cry from what our standard is.

Bottom line, Romberg and the majority of former players, want the win, and for the team to show the effort and talent that they were recruited for.

He is asking for accountability from he, the brotherhood and every player repping the U, and that is what everyone on this board wants from our U.

Nothing wrong with lighting a fire to step up, because right now players who are talented are showing little or nothing in their play.

Lighting a fire is good, because they are not smoldering right now, they are cold as ice in so many games.

Proof, look at the scoreboards and final scores....
Need to get savage, and violent....

injuries plagued BHs career here. he had chances early on and didnt really perform then fell off. i think JT is better in terms of a talent, but hes been a problem child. the standard is tough. i know they voted to have JT back and took another team vote last week so it seems like the team understands talent outweighs the warts w certain guys

JT isn't a cancer at all. His personality doesn't allow for it. He simply keeps to himself & doesn't say sh*t.

A cancer is loud, disruptive, & insubordinate. He is non of those things. Lazy as f*ck, yes, but a cancer, no.
And even when he does things like blocking dbs, he gives a lot to effort too which most receivers don’t like to do.

Could be he just does his own thing and doesn't want to participate in Manny's team building exercises. I guess not wanting to be part of Manny's trustfalls make him a cancer. JT4 wasn't the reason the team went 7-6 last year. He also isn't the reason that Miami will probably finish under .500. If he was constantly dropping passes or being lazy when asked to block I can almost buy the argument that he is a problem. Donaldson is getting the QB killed. That is a problem. If Diaz is going to make an example out of someone, then pick Donaldson.

WTF is a "cancer in the locker room"? This gets brought up constantly by teams that suck and I still don't understand what it is.

Are people trying to say that because some player ******* and moans in the locker room. It causes other players to perform badly? This sounds more like we have a team full of ******* than someone spreading a cancer.
