Romberg on this week’s OTH Podcast

At this point, you’re a horseshyt 4-4 team playing for nothing with JT and Donaldson. If those guys are really that divisive and lazy and tearing up the locker room, then what does Manure have to gain by continuing to play them? Why keep them around if they’re so toxic?

Romberg is big on hyperbole and shredding players and acting like the teams he played on were perfect. I don’t necessarily trust his commentary, but if it’s true, then Manure is a Manuron for keeping those guys around.

2022 or 2023

Deep Sigh

Question... So JT is a cancer so they say and has been suspended multiple times but yet still is on the team and Hightower WHO has been solid and showed flashes but yet barely got any burn and let him walk freely by the staff .... Who fault is it? and who is in charge again?

Boom! Y'all better start looking deeper into stuff man.

WoW.

Exactly,...Such an inoperable Cancer that oozes with Malignancy, but you continue to give them Snaps....Lol....Another telltale sign Diablo Diaz is in wayyyy over his head...

Not defending JT actions off the field and how he handles things . That will come with maturity as a growing young man but to me he seem to be one of those guys that doesn't take bull sh***t from anyone. For example, he gave former coach Dugans a piece of his mind last year and ripped him a new one. Yes HE was in the wrong but i bet he felt frustrated and Dugans tried to be rough with him. The kid is a competitor and WE DO NOT KNOW HOW TO USE HIM STILLL.... (YES IN BIG CAPS) FUNNY how we heard from coach Manny through out the off season how JT has designated himself and worked his way back up the charts . Even staying after practices working with KJ now all of sudden things has change??? Like i say GTFOH Romberg ! LIES!

MAN this some B.S. this kid may have a little mouth on him but he definitely is no cancer !-Players Love this dude and even Um facility! (There was a professor whom reached out to him through text when he was transferring and told him he was deeply missed down here! ) Coach Cooney even put the professor on the phone to speak to him in coming back and it worked ! I bet you all didn't know that SH***T but yet he was a Cancer??? I get it someone has to be the blame for this rocky season....

This is a three year player with 1st round talent who stock has completely drop by our past and NOW present coaching staffs. This is getting too common here since Stacey Coley and others its disgusting to be honest and I'm over it! (Truth be told some friends that I keep in contact with that are successful and run south Fla high school programs are too)
Coach these youngins up and put these bois in the position to be successful PERIODT. Speaking of KJ a class act player even his stock is even lower now then the time he spent at Buffalo . I rest my case!

i think manny allows the team to decide if the kid should stay on the team or not (it was up to a team vote to allow JT to come back this year) and reportedly the same with allowing williams to return after he went AWOL

The team votes on this stuff , and seems like they’d vote yes to keeping any player , no matter how dumb or lazy he is.

Maybd manny should veto this nonsense or just not allow it if they can’t make the logical decision. But who knows if manny will make the logical decision either.

JT4 always being labeled as this cancer doesn't line up with what the players that I know personally have told me about him.

Last year there was a real rift in the locker room between the under classmen & the upper class men, part of the reason why the young guys didn't get along with Dugans is because he would bark on the youngins whenever they messed up in practice but wouldn't say a word to dudes like Cager & Langham whenever they did the same, it could be missed assignments, dropped passes or just not running the route hard enough & Dugans nor Brown would ever say anything to the older guys. From what I was told, JT4 essentially took one for the team (the young WR's) & voiced not only his opinion but also spoke up for a lot of other players on the squad when he got into with Dugans.

I'm not saying JT4 is an angel, just from what I have heard most of his teammates like him a lot & get along with him well. He's not like a TO or Dez Bryant that will throw a fit when things go wrong, he's actually a quiet dude that just stays to himself mostly & if he's ****ed off he just doesn't communicate. Whether he's a "cancer" or not I don't know, but from what I've been told, he's not a bad kid at all.

With Donaldson, Idk wtf is up with him, he was a very good student in HS & was always touted as a smart hard working kid. There's obviously been a regression in his development but Idk how much credence I lend to Romberg saying he doesn't give AF. I mean, he would know better than me given he's seen him practice, so I'm not disputing that.

I do agree with Campbell playing in Donaldson's spot though, he's a good lineman that people gave up on too quick because of the UF game, but people forget he's just a Redshirt Frosh & is still developing.

Why do people keep saying this not defending JT but if he didn’t play against UF do we pick up the plays he made in that game somewhere else which included a critical 3rd down catch on the scoring drive before halftime to keep that drive alive so that we could get the TD before half and get back into that game. Also you don’t know if any of the other plays would have been open because UF was focusing on him. It’s great you take away the bad play without him but you take away the good ones as well

you mean the dropped TD as well?

I spend a lot of time watching the ol and up to Pitt Campbell played better than ND. And imo it was obvious , it seems like he’s taken to the guard spot.

Pitt was probably ND’s best game , I’m not sure if that’s the first game since the team meeting , but it makes sense . He had to get shredded if there was a players meeting.

I posted this back when and got hammered. Romberg put on weight between his jr and Sen year and was not near as good as a senior. He lived off his jr reputation his senior year
