Romberg was errible except for his UM stories

I can only listen to Crowder and Joe Rose, Crowder is hilarious Lebatard went down hill after his Lebron rants which were genius, but Leroy is the worst in talk radio

Your right on the money. Lebatard is not sports talk, its social commentary. Romberg comes off some type of way to me, i cant exactly put my finger on it. Hoch and Crowder is the most entertaining show. Crowder is really good and he does a good job of not bleeding orange blue all over the canes flagship station.

romberg wasn't great but he isnt as bad as amber who does live for a living.
 
@MedleyCane Your not wrong, but Sports radio in the summer sucks in general. Usually guys take vacations and you have fill-ins like Zach (Hes the worst) ranting passionately about nonsense.

Romberg made me laugh when I listened because he kept it brutally honest and commented out of nowhere just when you forgot he was on the show. Amber is too focused on her views and everyone agreeing with them. That show was never the same to me once Joy Taylor left. Tobins cool and Zaslow is Zaslow.

Lebatard had me fooled in the beginning but I only listened to his local hour occasionally and flipped over to Big O at 10. Big O is a Miami Guy one of the better ones. Sucks about his health issues, I worried about his job once he started bragging about having too many jobs. Big O wasted a little too much time on music.

"Tobin, Leroy and Beast" is better than the original show "Eric Reed, Leroy and Beast". the original show was always talking about there five favorite things everyday, and it was never related to sports. I hated Leroy when he compared The University of Miami to a pinky toe nail, but hes a good person caught in a hot take world. Leroy isn't as bad as the other out of town guys like Josh Freedman who think because they've lived here long enough, know more than the fanbase. Tobin saved the day with that show

Ethan Skolnick had a show that was great at information & insight for Miami Heat fans... I didn't see the end to that show coming.

Agree, she terrible, but so is that whole show. I only listen to it as a filler for 560. Zaslow is by far the worst of any, if I have to listen to that effeminate little "OK" he says after every sentence one more time, I'm driving to the studio to punch him.

My drive to work is about 15 minutes so I usually catch a segment or so of Joe Rose on the way to work. It's not great but it's better than tobins fake takes, ambers voice, and zaslows *****iness.

no one saw the end w skolnick till he beat up his dad. it was a good show tho for the traditional sports model

Agree. Joe Rose is a little past his prime and all that, but it's decent local sports coverage.

Been listening to Curtis Stevenson and Rashad Butler in the afternoon on 790, and they're pretty good.

Zaslow is ridiculous. Zero sports knowledge, terrible voice but thinks because he does the Heat pregame he's part of their front office. I recall him going off about Ira Winderman saying LBJ was likely gone, screaming "baseless" into his microphone, calling him Windbag, etc. Next day, LBJ was gone. Zaslows ***** *** wouldn't let him come on for a follow-up and totally avoids him at media events. No balls.
 
Only time I ever listen to sports radio is during the season to hear interviews with Miami coaches - and even then I'll usually just pick the clip off the Internet and listen at work.

Whenever I try to listen otherwise, I'm bombarded with ads. I can't take it. I have a 15 minute or so commute in the morning, and it occurs around the dreaded "top of the hour." Start listening around 6:52AM, maybe get 1 minute or so of actual show, then it's a complete blitz of horse$hit for the entire rest of the drive. No thanks.

I like Curtis in the afternoon. I also like Alex Donno if I'm in the car while he is on. He isnt some insider but he tries to talk Canes.

zaslow likes to be condescending to anyone that disagrees w him or proves him wrong. the show wouldve been fine had they found a replacement for joy that better suited the shows chemistry. everyone on there seems to dislike each other.

All they said was that Romberg and the station could come to an agreement on something and both sides decided to part ways, that there was no bad blood between Zazlow, amber and Rom. They said he didnā€™t do anything wrong.
