OP get a clue. Had Mario taken Cam & others out and ended up with a closer score then you’d be saying he doesn’t know what he’s doing blah blah blah. What does TA&M have to do with anything? Ridiculous comparison. It’s the old Jimmy thing.....get them down and step on their neck which is just what Mario did. :foot-nd:
 
Anybody who doesn't see this year's team as 'different' than last is just a lying to themselves or disillusioned (understandable). It's to early to get ahead of ourselves until ACC play starts, but absolutely destroying a UF team in the swamp - even in a down year is impressive. I dunno if we run the table this year, but I think we'll end up in the ACCCG, and be fighting for a playoff spot.

The stars have aligned to make a deep run THIS year, we must make the most of it.
 
Mario is bringing in kids with a different mindset and attitude. To me that’s the big difference.
 
I am a casual fan who admits that his expertise is in baseball, and even I can see how much better we are on both lines.

Not me…at 53 I have seen each and every kind of UM season since the late 70s.

One game against an unranked opponent does nothing for me except to allow me to stick it to my Gate friends and enjoy that rivalry victory…I want much more than just that this year and I KNOW that nothing is assured to us…

People already crowning us as ACC Champs and auto entry into the 12 team playoff are hilarious at best. We SHOULD do those things all things being equal..but they just aren’t always. Loving the squads level head and one game at a time mentality…I choose to ride along with that reality and enjoy it.
 
Agreed. I'm happy with the dominant win, but I'm also unsure about how indicative it is of how how good the team is. We've seen plenty of early season wins over the years that we thought were a big deal, but ultimately turned out to be the result of playing a bad opponent.

Did you watch that game? Nothing like that game last year and this was a ***** rivalry game....
