We winning out. This team doesn't quit and TVD is playing like a vet. He will only get better. Also Arroyo who is about to have his breakout game

Dont be hating on my man Tru C just because y'all cant recognize a quality thread from the git-go.

@ FSU and home against Va Tech are far from gimmies but OP's scenario has merit.

If by some miracle this team makes it to Charlotte, Wake will put up 50 on this defense. Hartman is the best QB in the country at running the RPO. He rides the running back to the line of scrimmage and will drop it over the top like it’s a layup.

Miami wins out

Pitt beats UVA to give them 3 losses in conference

UNC beats Pitt to give them 2 losses and Miami gets the head to head as the ONLY teams with 2 losses. Everyone else will have 3+

Le go!

Well, it could happen. UM could even beat Wake in the ACC Championship. But, where will UM play after that with a record of 9-4? Maybe a rivalry game against UF? It would be a good scenario, except that I don't see it happening. UM will ***** up along the way. With a defense that gives up so many points, UM's best hope is a mid-level bowl loss. Sorry for the pessimism, but until I see better coaching, I am not going to get my hopes up.

Calm down. We have seen this before and we lay a goose egg the following game. GT isn’t a pushover, but it would be nice if we can get a comfortable win for once.
I don't think this is the case this year. It feels different. If what you say is true, then that egg would have been laid at Pitt after the NC State win.

The team has responded. They are by no means perfect, but they have responded and play hard. The defense has holes especially at LB which I believe could be solved with K. Smith and Austin-Cave if they'd give him a shot. I didn't expect the defensive line to get pressure on Pickett since they haven't had a pass rush all year, but the defensive line did a nice job. We need better play at one of the corner positions (Stevenson is solid) and the young safties will continue to improve.

We have faced all of the best QBs on the schedule. We've played against all the top QBs in the conference, so we should see an improvement in less yards and less points against weaker QBs.

The same can be said for the opposing defenses. We put up 30+ on the 2 best defenses (statistically) in the ACC. We could and should have put up 50 on Pitt. Rambo dropped a sure TD and had a drop on a deep pass thst would have been a difficult catch inside the 10. My point is there's nobody remaining on the schedule that can keep us from scoring 40+. Our defense will do just enough, but the scoring margins will be double digit scoring 40+ and keeping teams under 30.

If the team plays as hard for 4 quarters as they have the past 2 games against NC State and Pitt, they'll win out.

It could happen. TVD is the way.

He actually had the time to make his reads most of the time and he handled their blitzes with ease.

He reminds me Dorsey in his first year. I'm confident when TVD has the ball in his hands.
