I don't get it. Played 5 years in the League. Only 26. Seemed to have everything going for him.
It sucks to have your career cut short due to injury, but he was young and had done very well for himself. Hard to figure, and hard to take.Just wonder if his season ending injury this past year had something to do with it?
Didn’t Dallas have a player that died by suicide recently too?
Both NFL and NCAA need to do more!
A lot of these great athletes really struggle to adjust/adapt to post-football life...blessings to his family ... mental health is real

Not disagreeing. That concept applies to many careers.Unfortunately some athletes entire sense of self is based upon their ability to play their chosen sport. Their worth and value are dependent upon their success on the field. Not saying that is what contributed to his mental health issues, but something that coaches and inner circles/families should be sensitive to. Regardless, what a waste of a future. So sad
