RIP Rondale Moore

Just wonder if his season ending injury this past year had something to do with it?

Didn’t Dallas have a player that died by suicide recently too?

Both NFL and NCAA need to do more!
It sucks to have your career cut short due to injury, but he was young and had done very well for himself. Hard to figure, and hard to take.

Rondale was a special talent. I still remember the game where Purdue crushed Taint. He had a monster game that day. He pretty much beat the brakes off of the Suckeyes by himself. Final score I think was 49-13.

Unfortunately, he suffered a bad injury his rookie season and was never the same. Even though he played a few years in the league, he was a shell of himself, and then he suffered another serious injury this past season.

This is no doubt a tragic loss. Gone way too soon. Prayers for all of his family and friends.

Check up on your people. He'll always be remembered for being the key factor in one of the great upsets college football has seen.

Unfortunately some athletes entire sense of self is based upon their ability to play their chosen sport. Their worth and value are dependent upon their success on the field. Not saying that is what contributed to his mental health issues, but something that coaches and inner circles/families should be sensitive to. Regardless, what a waste of a future. So sad

Not disagreeing. That concept applies to many careers.

170 and 2 TDs in the biggest win in recent program memory in an absolute beat down of Ohio State.

Believe that was the game where the world was introduced to Tyler Trent, the Purdue fan that died from cancer @ 20 after predicting the upset.

Dwayne Haskins, also dead. Starting QB for Ohio State.
