The Randy Shannon sleeping in his apartment to keep Tez from eating is one of the all-time classic stories. Terrific player. Tez and the Dancing Bear at tackles. What a treat!

I don't think anyone realizes how good Kennedy was. He played in an era with Reggie White and let me tell you, he had nothing on Cortez. Tez was just a nasty,violent player. Just absolutely dominant. One of the best I have ever seen. A true legend. Rest In Peace Cortez!
