Mike Leach's impact on countless lives, including my own, will never be forgotten in the midst of this unexpected loss for not only Mississippi State, but the entire world of college football.
The football universe, not just CFB, lost a truly legendary icon today. He was one of a kind and will be sorely missed. My sincerest condolences go out to his family and friends.
"It is appointed for man to die once" (Hebrews 9:27). Men, the people on this board and the things we discuss, are not our enemies. Our biggest enemy is death.
“Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law; but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ" I Corinthians 15:54-57.
Mike Leach wouldn't want us crying over him...he would want us to laugh at the time he put Craig James' kid in a ******* shed in 100 degree Texas heat because Craig James' kid is an *******. lmfao
The guy was comfortable in his own skin and not afraid to share his personality with people and realized there's life outside of football too. That's missing too much in sports with dudes either being too guarded or too one-dimensional people. Leach obviously wasn't perfect but he sure was interesting and that's not a bad legacy to have. RIP.
