Riley possibility to USC

I wonder how much the deal is worth? Coming off the insanity of the Tucker and Franklin deals this has to be astronomical although I'd personally have left Norman, Oklahoma for USC in a second for the exact same amount of money as my current deal if I'm Riley and want to remain in the college game.

They're my backup haha. If they keep Manny, I'll try to root for two teams but I'm not sure I can do it.
I couldn’t actually pull for usc but I’ll just watch other CFB games and not be invested anymore

If Mario leaves, imo that would make it look like Mario is dodging Lincoln Riley. Or at least that’s what the media would try to portray.
It’d be a smart move if he did tbh...

Oregon has been skating by in the Pac because USC has been down, they’ve won by playing Penn St B1G ball with very average QB play & very minimal offense.

It cannot be overstated, USC just got Lincoln Riley, they have 3 legit QB’s in Kedon Slovis, Jaxon Dart & Miller Moss, all 3 are talented enough to be starters, they have three 4-star RB’s & have a loaded WR corps, which means their offense is about to explode in the Pac-12.

If he keeps Donte Williams on his staff he’ll continue to lock down the Wes Coast CB recruiting & the rest will take care of itself. Not to mention, Lincoln Riley is a **** good recruiter himself & USC has no problem spending money on their recruiting budget.

If I was Mario, I’d be looking to get outta Oregon too, wouldn’t care if it was Miami or LSU, I’m not about to let Riley come to my conference & expose me, fck that lol

Mario strikes me as the kind of guy who would ask UM to keep quiet about signing him until after the Pac12 championship game so that it isn't a distraction to the Ducks players.
The only issue with this is it’s Mario or bust…which I know it has been for a while, but you’re ignoring the larger pool of talented coaches.

One thing’s for certain. If Manny is back next year, I won’t be.

You don't know that UM has been ignoring a pool of highly qualified coaches. UM wasn't interested in Napier. Riley was a shock but he wasn’t coming to UM. All the coaches we may target are still available.

If cristobal sign to Oregon he will never coach at miami and he would lose his cane status in my eyes. I know he don't care what I think but that's how I would feel.
I definitely agree. He can't use any excuse because sounds like we are all in on him. Either **** or get off the pot with him. I feel like if he loves the University he could communicate his true feelings about the job and we can either start the process of hiring or move along to get a good coach to start rebuilding the brand.

In addition, all other things being equal, USC will always be more attractive to recruits.

I looked at the OU forum last night and early today. LOL. They were such a *****y entitled bunch, whining about how insulted they were that Riley had even considered LSU, and raging about how he'd better make staff changes IMMEDIATELY and how OU could do so much better, bla bla bla. To be able to move to LA and be free of those hicks.... Must be a glorious day in the Riley house.
Oklahoma is one of the ****tier places to live in this country for sure.
