I agree..I actually didn’t mind the band/Patke move. They helped create the culture with manny. It’s about culture and keeping that goin. Manny didn’t build it on his own. But yea changes on o are clearly needed

Still, over promoting the 2 sends the wrong message. It says Miami is lazy and isn't serious about getting its players the best most qualified teachers. It was all about a recruiting strategy that didn't work... the AD should undo it but he wont.

I don’t think that’s what it was. When you make a coaching Change like oc or dc. That means that coach is coming with his own staff. That means teaching players new techniques and creating a new culture. On D we didn’t need that. What we are doing works and fits us...On O that’s a whole other story. We need that full override

He couldn’t beat uva or duke with this team, so your saying he needs elite players to beat bad teams. Which I agree with.

He should be in his prime, and the admin should be helping him stack a deep coaching staff, he should be CEOing this thing... that's why I have zero hope for him to be the CEO we need him to be next year and beyond. Staff hires matter. Staff hires equal wins and croots.

I totally disagree. We did need fresh ideas on D, especially in regards to recruiting. Our recruiting base is a bunch of future pro prospects, we have to show them we mean business and will hire experienced coordinators. Schiano, Grinch, Chizick, Raymond or Ansley would have been a power move. Power moves matter.

Richt needs to be fired if you want to sniff 9 wins and a bowl game. The film is out on him. His offense is worse than most high school offenses. The announcer flat out said I know what’s coming. If he knows don’t you think college coaches who get paid millions knows what’s coming. It’s a ducking disgrace he’s made as much as he’s made for winning absolutely nothing and getting BLOWN the **** out year in and year out. He doesn’t deserve another hour. He was the beneficiary last year of a historical defensive performance. He’s been outscored by 75 points in the first quarter against P5 schools since he’s gotten here. We start every game down 7-0, 10-0 and 14-0. He’s a joke and a clown. Fvck him.

Right. Are we supposed to expect him to suddenly care about hiring the most qualified coaches? Will he suddenly care that the OL is terrible? Will he suddenly want to maximize practice time? The more I think about this, the more I think he should resign. He doesn't care at all about winning, it's all about having a cushy job for him.
