Richt will be the reason we never see another 5* QB at Miami.

Boring offense and just runs, runs, runs until we lose. Then he runs the following week. No excitement in our offense, **** who would want to play in his fvcked up scheme? No wonder Johnson Jr. bolted off to Penn St. If I wasn't a Canes fan, I would have too.
Sad days my friends......so much being ****ed away.
I get your point and agree with most of it, but it's not the reason MJJ chose PSU. He saw that we have 3 young capable QBs and he has a chance to be a starter next year at PSU. Also, he is a 4 star, but your point is well taken that the offense is not very creative.

I would say things would look at lot better when you have an offensive line that can block.

according to some of the UGA fans I know, we will see a much more aggressive Richt next week that will have you pulling your hair out

Blood, LOTS of blood in the water.

UVA disaster has real possibility of negatively impacting current recruits, let alone closing the deal wirh on the fence big gets. Other programs on the rise, Miami at best is sideways, will use the listless loss to out hustle for the dotted lines come.early signing.

Im not certain Richt closes a top 15 class this cycle.

Couple that with guaranteed losses to BC & VT & we’re in big trouble.

So, other programs can lose games (let's face it, the vast majority of teams lose games....**** even Alabama typically loses a game or two), and that's fine for recruiting, but every single time Miami loses a game, we have to bit** and moan about how a loss is going to kill our recruiting?

That's a toxic narrative and we need to let go of that ASAP. I'm as angry about the UVA game as anyone, but overall, this fan base needs to get a grip. Sometimes I believe that we have one of the most toxic fan bases in the country, and that that negatively impacts recruiting as much as anything.

LOL while questioning some parts of Richt's coaching is vailid to question his recruiting it out right insanity. He is one of the 10 best recruiters of the last 20 years. The proof is in the pudding. At UM he has brought in the 2 best classes ( and that has nothing to do with rankings though they were good) we have gotten in the last 15 years or so. We are loaded at MOST spots . Still need more and better OL and special teamers and need to get some experience in our talented QBs but this is just year 3 . You can't suck for 15 years and then win a title in year 3 . Doesn't mean you can't win 10-11 games though in year 3 which we will.

That's a toxic narrative...

Elite teams can miss a knock from time to time. Miss them more than just time to time and you get...

Miami, Texas, UF, TCU, USC, Penn St (on upswing now), OSU, WVU, VT, CU, Mich, MSU, ND, etc, etc.

Miami's program has been mired in also ran status for over 10 years. The loss to UVA sinks it deeper.

The Miami standard, like what was the UF standard amd what is now the Bama standard, is undefeated with a Natty. Its a lofty one, but the Miami fanbase hasnt been satisfied with anytjing less since 1983.

That isn't a toxic narrative, thats reality.

I want you to be 100% proven right on signing day. As of right now, what appears to be open source information on where the 2019 class is says otherwise. Miami is very likely 2-3 cycles away from having a potential OL to match up with elite DLs. Thats not tomorrow, thats the 2020 or 2021 season of play. In turn, elite status at that time is wholly predicated on keeping up the Ds level of production.

Without addressing any issues we might have, I'll bet anyone a whole pie with 1 topping at The Big Cheese and an autographed Joe Zagacki Canes media guide from 2007 that Johnson Jr. will end up regretting buying into Black Coked Up Al Golden's shtick in Happy Pedo Valley. Sooner rather than later too.

He recruited Jacob Eason, a 5* before he left Georgia...so, I don't think that is very accurate.

The real statement should be whether or not that future 5* is going to be any good.
Eason ended up at Washington, will be interesting if he starts out there after sitting out this year.

Unclear. As long as his coaches keep hooking up with hot women, whats the problemo?

Im afraid so no good 5 star QB will want to come here and get benched to put in a proven scrub in a must win game.

Big Ten girls are okay until winter rolls around and they think they can pack on 25lbs of "muscle" and hide it with baggy sorostitute sweatshirts. The panic in their eyes and the overflowing spin classes on the first day it hits 70 degrees in March (or they get within 30 days of their spring break trips) is truly a sight to behold.

No better way to start a fire and poor gas on it to divide a locker room. Just dumb. Your #1 QB should get 90% of the starter reps in practice. If you plan to play both QBs, then one guy is not as prepared as the other and that hurts the team. Such a chicken s%*@! way to coach. Pick a QB and live with the consequences!!!!

Playing either QB isn't going to change the outcome of the wins and losses for this year. However, you may have just f'ked yourself with your future QB. You think after this season that Perry will trust Richt? Richt won't name a starter in the Spring because he can't afford 2 of his QBs to transfer so he'll drag the competition into Fall camp. Whomever isn't the starter next year is going to transfer at minimum after the 2019 season and may jump ship at the beginning of the season.
