How ridiculous is it that we need a grad transfer because Yearby made a terrible decision and Gus is caught up in his feelings?
Our RB depth chart would be fine if either of those 2 guys weren't so selfish. And if both of them stayed, we probably be pushing Gray out after spring practice.
But on the "glass half full" side, Gray is gonna get every chance to earn PT. If he can't secure the 3rd spot, it's all in him.
Yearby made a family decision. He already has two kids, he needs to support them
Why/how is declaring for the NFL draft a "family decision"?
It's like someone saying their job is buying lottery tickets. That's not a job ...
Some of y'all are so blinded by your fan-dom that you're not making very much sense. Especially those of you who don't think Walton is all that good ...
If Walton is as average as some of y'all say, what does that make the 2 guys who couldn't take the starting job from him?
If Yearby was a FSU or UF back who was bumped from 2nd to 3rd string during the season, and was declaring for the NFL draft, most of y'all would be clowning him for being an idiot. But Yearby is just making a "family decision"??
A "family decision" is earning your degree. It's playing and practicing well enough to challenge Walton for more carries, and making a Gus-transfer irrelevant.
Yearby is trying to cash a lottery ticket without any of the winning numbers. And anybody trying to justify that decision should let me know how many small, slow-ish, running backs are earning a living in the NFL ... Especially the ones who can't block and/or play special teams.
