Richt says Quarterman and Smith injuries shouldn’t be too serious...

Should we expect a fully healthy hurricanes team vs FSU?

Shaq’s ankle is probably pretty bad because he has an unusually high pain tolerance. I’ll be pleasantly surprised if he plays this week.
Yeah that whole scene was hard to watch. We get a little crazy around here with linebacker evaluations. Shaq showed on Saturday why he is the leader of this defense and pretty much has been since he got here

Never thought I'd say this but we need at least two of JJ, Shaq, & Smith
JJ will be the most ready

Franchise, I’d be surprised if he doesn’t play. I’d be shocked if he hasn’t been icing it, staying off it, in a boot, on crutches or whatever all weekend.

If I’m him, I’m not doing a thing all weekend except living in the training room.

Can we get him a quick consultation trip to Tuscaloosa?

You do realize he’s not a doctor and that injuries like what AR has, and also what Shaq have are notoriously difficult to predict as far as recoveries.

In Shaq’s case, have you ever ever severely sprained your ankle? I have. Numerous times. I don’t even go to the doctor I’ve sprained them so many times.

Sometimes they swell up as big as a tennis ball or two. Are purple and yellow on day 3, and by day 7, I’m a full go. Sometimes they hurt for 2-3 weeks or more. Impossible to ascertain soft tissue damage.
Same here, I’ve been spraining the same ankle every year since I was like 12 lmao. But that 1st time you do it, the pain is almost unbearable. Now I can turn my ****, have the bone touch the floor lace my shoes back up and usually I’m good. But that same night or the days afterward are a *****..on the replay it looked like Shaq has a high ankle sprain which are even tougher to manage

If Shaq isn’t 90%...he shouldn’t play. Hopefully the staff learned their lesson with Walton last year.

Can’t have some dude out there limping around...just to show folks how tough he is.
