LOL, you mean the one that picked up those 1st downs? The short 1st downs that we suck at? ****, the short 1st downs that we've sucked at for close to a decade?

For real, this might have been our best 3rd down performance in 5 years. 7-15 is almost 50%. And as much as I wish I were joking, that's really good for this team. Like really good.
 
This is so dumb. Worked for exactly what we needed each time. FB dives aren’t meant to be 80 TD runs
 
I said It would be predictable and you know richt is going to call it but hey if it works it is what it is lol

Actually as it succeeds it is a good thing as it sets up other options
 
v. Toledo

3rd and 1 - Gray run for 3 yards. 1st Down.
3rd and 1 - Gray run for 2 yards. 1st Down.
4th and Goal from the 1 - Gray run for 1 yard. Touchdown.

On the season, the fullback dive is 6 carries for 12 yards for 5 first downs and a goal line touchdown.

Seems to be working, but idk.

It's like saying "I'd rather not run the Tom Brady sneak on every 3rd or 4th & 1, even though it works every single time."

Getting the first down on 3rd and inches is the most important thing and Gray is going to be very difficult to prevent from picking that up. I tracked it last year and we were 62nd out of 65 P5 teams in conversion of 3rd and 2 or shorter. This year we're practically 100%.

I just wish someone would teach Trayone how to bend at the hips so I wouldn’t have to see him squatted down in that ******* frog stance with his *** on his heels. Brings back bad memories of No’D and Folden’s nose tackles.
 
It worked all game. OP is a on the spectrum.

We need to run a play action out of it vs FSU
 
How many short conversions we failed last season? This is a good tool to have. I wanna see more of it. I wanna see those 3,4 and 5 yard runs to keep us on schedule
 
Some porsters just got to have something to neg about.

We couldn't buy a 3rd or 4th and short conversion last year or for years before that.

The FB dive is a bread and butter play on any offense. And sets up a great play action opportunity.

It's why Choc bulked up and Richt brought in the Realus.
