Very dumb. But, not in the Top 25 dumbest things I saw from Richt on Saturday. I'm not defending it, just saying...its low on the priorities list of things to ***** about.

Agree 100%, I was saying the same. I was defending the Choc short yardage usage. I've been a fan of it all year.
 
Choc is tailor made for that 1yd gain even if the D knows it's coming. If we had a good o-line it would be borderline unstoppable. But our o-line sucks.
 
It doesn't need to be scrapped, it needn't be the only short yardage play we have though.

Play action off that would be nice...
 
Reminds me of the bubble screens last year. Became predictable and almost got pick 6’d a few times. I was waiting and waiting for the fake bubble with something over the top, but it never came.

Never once ran another play out of that formation to at least keep the defenses honest. Just a horrendous play caller.
