this guy is washed up. this is a horrible hire. we picked up someone who can't win anymore and ga got rid of him. this sucks

Yup, we should've got the 10 year older Butch Davis who is comfortably in his prime.

It truly was a post that could have been more thoughtful if you had knowledge of whats' been going on at Georgia for the past couple of years..Sports Illustrated reported last year of a power struggle by Pruitt to take over the football team that resulted in the disaster the Georgia Program has become...Pruitt and Shottimhiemer will not get an invitation to the Miami Program and I can only assume the Georgia Adminstration has seen the folly of their decisions...Richt was to much of a gentleman to air the dirty laundry.

This is b.s. No reason to assume this. He may well have been burned out at UGA but thats not that unusual for an HC where there is a ton of politics and other b.s. going on. They have had some ups and downs this year but still had a pretty decent season considering having lost the star of their offense and playing in the SEC. He made comments after the breakup with UGA which indicated he wanted to get back to working with QBs and the offense again which clearly sounds like he's not been able to do some of the things he wants to do as a coach for a while.

This guy should be able to win the coastal on a fairly regular basis and have us in the ACCCG on a regular basis. This is the kind of HC that will have us back as a power in the ACC with FSU and Clemson.
