Richt only cares about one thing

The "mutual agreement" to part with UGA was the best thing to have happened to this man. This new fire under his *** is an absolutely amazing thing to see, and I am SO glad he came to The U.

He's going to do some crazy, crazy sh*t down here, fam. I am so hyped.

I was worried when he was first mentioned, having watched UGA sleep walk through a lot of big games lately, but after watching that press conference when he was let go, and seeing how he's handled everything since arriving at Miami, it's obvious that getting fired woke him up and ****ed him off. With his deep religious beliefs, he's mentioned a couple of times that it was God's will that he was fired, and it happened at the same time this job became available, and I would bet a lot of money he sees this as a sign that he was meant to come back home, and get it done. He was getting close in Athens, then he distanced himself from the X's and O's, I think with some pressure from the administration. I know, through some coaches who are friends with some on the staff, that he is completely different now, compared to the last few years at UGA; much more involved and excited about what he's doing. He has carte blanche to do what he wants at Miami. Give it another year or two to get some depth, and Miami will be back.

I agree, if he has come home with a huge chip on his shoulder, then he will do all those things UGA wanted him to do. This is The U not UGA. This is a, no THE, place to do it. All we have ever needed was decent coaching that saw what our kids could do, let them do it, and enjoyed the ride. The injuries and attrition might make it very difficult this year but if we play like Canes, then losing some will be okay. More than anything, I want to beat FSU. That sets up recruiting and puts us on the front page.

Richt only cares about one thing...mysteriously getting all his players hurt.

No mystery. Players went from practicing poorly to practicing hard. Bodies were unaccustomed to physical play.

What about all those GA players who were always getting hurt all the time? They were used to the training, yet all of them got hurt all the time. How do you explain that?

Ok, at least 43 of you got the sarcasm by now. I guess I should have said "always" a few more times.

God I want Richt to kill it here...

So far he's been everything I was hoping for in our next coach

Above and beyond. So far he has exceeded my expectations. He's certainly not a guy that is just happy to have another job. He's on a mission.
