The "mutual agreement" to part with UGA was the best thing to have happened to this man. This new fire under his *** is an absolutely amazing thing to see, and I am SO glad he came to The U.
He's going to do some crazy, crazy sh*t down here, fam. I am so hyped.
I was worried when he was first mentioned, having watched UGA sleep walk through a lot of big games lately, but after watching that press conference when he was let go, and seeing how he's handled everything since arriving at Miami, it's obvious that getting fired woke him up and ****ed him off. With his deep religious beliefs, he's mentioned a couple of times that it was God's will that he was fired, and it happened at the same time this job became available, and I would bet a lot of money he sees this as a sign that he was meant to come back home, and get it done. He was getting close in Athens, then he distanced himself from the X's and O's, I think with some pressure from the administration. I know, through some coaches who are friends with some on the staff, that he is completely different now, compared to the last few years at UGA; much more involved and excited about what he's doing. He has carte blanche to do what he wants at Miami. Give it another year or two to get some depth, and Miami will be back.
