Hater, I agree and have said so many times. Right knows **** good and well Rosier is weak link on offense, he will keep him as starter to keep him from going anywhere. He will start at LSU, he will be on a short hook though, this year he actually has other options. Not gonna compete in the QB contraversy on this board however, all I will say is we have 3 legit guys now, I trust Richt will go with the one that gives him the best chance to win. I know it’s hard for some on here but MR knows more about the position than any CIS board member. His hands has been tied since he got here, this year it’s not the case, I know he must feel good about that, finally
Its a HUGE gamble to go with a qb who should never take another snap in a CANES uniform. 10 wins is not a guarantee with an inconsistent, inaccurate, one-read qb. If you really want to be honest; we should have lost 3 more games last year. The TO chain contributed more than #12 did in those wins. From the staff/players, it seems that this years version Perry is capable of winning 10-12(considering the schedule)and a better result in the acccg. Those games last year should have been blowouts. #12 was outplayed by every qb we faced last year except ND. ****, if Petrino had what we had at qb last year; yeah, he would throw Perry/Weldon/Williams to the wolves if they showed any glimpse of readiness. **** nah to #12 and his bs. Stick around and be a backup with experience since everyone else is young.I've seen many reports that Cade Weldon is more athletic and more dynamic than Nkosi Perry. Petrino was platooning because he did not have a returning Senior coming off a 10 win season, a berth in the conference championship, and a NY6 appearance. He was platooning because even WITH a Heisman Trophy winner under center Louisville is an 8-5, 9-4, 8-5 team. He's platooning because he can. He's platooning because 8-5 and a losing effort in the Belk Bowl is acceptable at Louisville. We would fire Richt if at the end of three seasons, a 9-4 record with a win in the Music City bowl was his best season. We won 10 games last year. We're not about to "throw Perry to the wolves" and hope for the best. We're likely going to be favored in at least 10, if not all, of our games. Only an absolute idiot would gamble with an unknown quantity.
The people who have been watching, the coaches and others who have had the opportunity to view the practices and scrimmages have said that he is lacking in one of those and nothing "elite" in the other.Just keep watching, you'll see he has plenty of both.
Think any other qb we have has this in their game?? Nah, ****, no other qb we ever had possessed this type of quickness, agility, and escapabiliy.
This is a different game now, and you have to be able to move and throw.

Reading comprehension is so underrated...Dude, this is spring camp. In regards to Perry being behind #12 bc he hasn't earned it is your opinion. Hurts is #1 in bama"s spring camp followed by Tua and you're going to tell me he hasn't earned it. Stop acting like you have access to CMR coaches and/or qb meetings. You don't know what the he11 is going on behind closed doors and screened fences. Im debating with someone whose giving #12 credit for 10 wins a year ago. Anyone with any IQ of football and watched all our games in '17 would boldly stand in disagreement to your claim. We won in spite of that guy under center. You're here just as a fan i assume. You come on and get your lil updates and meet others that rep The U. Let those who know the game and this team share words of wisdom while you just react. Now I'm confused. Is your beef because we have Nkosi Perry at QB instead of Lamar Jackson, or that we have Mark Richt as HC instead of Bobby Patrino?
"From the staff/players, it seems that this years version Perry is capable of winning 10-12(considering the schedule)and a better result in the acccg"
So 10 wins is not guaranteed with a guy who's done it, yet 10-12 is with a guy who's never taken a snap? And just stop it with the "he doesn't have any experience because CMR wouldn't play him," bull****. The guy who in your mind doesn't deserve another snap beat out and is still ahead of the guy you think should be starting because he's earned it. If and when Nkosi EARNS the job he'll get his chance, but it will not be because you or any other porsters here don't think Rosier deserves another snap.

One play in practice means he can run the O, go through progressions, hit guys in stride, and generally make good decisions with the ball in his hands. If juke moves is all it takes to play QB, why the heck didn't we play Devin Hester at QB?
Why would I want a QB who can escape a perfectly clean pocket. He stepped up and let the ends go by, just like you're taught to do. Then he just ran for no apparent reason out of a clean pocket right into the defender who had QB responsibility on the play. Leaving a clean pocket without ever looking downfield isn't escapability. It's stupidity. If he meets any P5 1st string linebacker he gets leveled. As it were, he met Derrion Owens who transferred to G5 Houston because he lost his 2nd string spot.
Take a look at the still. Don't click play. Observe the scene first. The tackles have done their job and pushed the ends too far up field to be a factor. There are 4 orange jerseys in front of the QB and only 1 white jersey. That lone white jersey is not attacking. He's holding QB contain. All Perry needs to do is take a single step forward to be completely out of harms way and have plenty of time to scan the field. Instead Perry runs right towards the one guy he should not. That Darrion Owens failed to make the play has more to do with him being demoted from 2nd string to 3rd, than Perry being promoted from clipboard co signal caller. Pocket awareness my ***. That play is a demonstration of what NOT to do. That play is an example of a guy who doesn't know what to do and falls back to the only thing he can do. Run.Lmao, clean pocket? He was about to get sacked.
**** you're lost.
I'm saying that if one play in practice excites you, you're a fool.If you think that play is meant to show anything about throwing ability then you're following the wrong sport.

Yeah, if Perry does this vs fsboo or any other hested rivalry game he will in all likelihood be entering the concussion protocol shortly after. But nonetheless sweet practoce moves.2 things:
1. Darrion Owens was not good enough to play here. He managed 41 tackles in 4 years and transferred back to G5 Houston to be with Dorito.
2. Owens had contain on that play. Perry stepped up into a clean pocket and instead of looking down field decided to run INTO the contain man.
You see elite quickness. I see a ****-poor decision meeting a LB who transferred because he was about to lose his spot on 2nd string. Had Perry met actual elite talent on that play, say an LB like Roquan Smith, Howard Landry, or Tremaine Edmunds, we could have just put a head stone in that spot because Perry would have been killed.
And change everyone else’s positionsEvery. Year.

Perry's raw arm talent enamors me more than those practice moves. It could take a while for that to translate to Saturdays though.
