He was listed at 185 according to 24/7 and Rivals when he was a senior in HS. Kosi is listed at 185 currently so I was incorrect, BUT Kosi is the same weight as a sophomore as Lamar was in HS. Lamar is also an inch shorter then Kosi which usually accounts for about 4-7lbs depending on frame. By the time Lamar actually started playing he was 196lbs so this goes against whatever agenda the other poster was trying to push.

So not only are we having the same repetitive qb conversations in every thread , we’ve now mixed in the Kosi weight talk, that was beaten into the ground earlier in the year. I guess we’re back to playing the classics.

He’ll be in the 190-195 pound range by fall, that’s big enough. There’s been far skinnier cats play the position.

This Perry bashing is truly crap.

I understand people feeling they have enough data to speak on Malik and his abilities.

But somehow Perry, who was a savior on this board 8 months ago, has now turned into Xavier Lee or Jamarcus Russell (Raiders version).

And now, the same folks who said Perry was Deshaun Watson are claiming Williams is the man to beat (keep in mind - not one scrimmage has been played).

Y’all gotta chill.

Dee still provides a lot of good info inspite of some of his incorrect predictions. It happens.

Youre tiring. I havent said a word about either of them from that stance. Not one word about nkosi & leadership etc or gave any instances to doubt it & i havent said anything about jarrens leadership. Anything people say from their own perspective you just cant help but as usual attributing to me. Lord ur sad. Only negative thing period i stated about nkosi was that he seemed to have a lacsadasical approach on one specific day. Anything else was a concern the staff has had that plenty of people staff included had previously mentioned which was him focusing on football & the team. Ive said he has a definite advantage because he has a year in the system etc. You just wanna create drama as usual so u argue every narrative. If he said he supported nkosi & so did i youd say all the good stuff you hear about jarren... thats just in ur nature. You take what people say & you twist it so ot works for u & the flock. Thats just lame. You want my stance on something or my attention that badly just ask for it.
 
Pure speculation: But I am buying short stock in williams and investing long in perry. Sold all rosier stock after acccg.
 
CMR gave Rosier every opportunity to get the job and is going to give him every opportunity to keep it. We have a lot of talent on offense and if Malik can’t take advantage of it with his experience then you almost have to give the new guy a shot.
But did we really see Rosier at any time during last season show potential as a top qb? I’m really asking cause I’m not a qb evaluator but my poorly trained eye didn’t see it.
So will CMR take a chance on a new qb?
With the thin front 7 we’re going to have to ligh it up.
So while Rosier might at first seem like the safer option we might need a little bit more than a game manager qb.

I’m thinking this spring’s scrimmages will tell the tale (i know that’s not shocking).

If Perry or Williams can make plays....while limiting senseless errors.....they’ll get the nod.

I think Rick wants a playmaker back there....but you can’t go with a playmaker when their unforced errors are out of control. Until the basics become natural for the other two.....he’s gonna roll with Malik.

You we're trying to say that Perry lacked leadership bc you didn't hear of him recruiting others to the U; SERIOUSLY. From post practice interviews, he's more vocal and commands the huddle. CMR praised how far he's come along. What have you heard from players/staff about Williams. "He's young and talented but has a lot to learn." I'm not knockin Williams but this is big boy football now. What vids have you seen that indicates "he's the man" compared to the others. By me responding, im trying to allow you to think and read b4 pressing the post key

Watch the videos from football nation that were posted yesterday from early in the practice... Jarren is no where in comparison to Kosi at this moment.

my point is there should be no reason perry cant beat out malik. seriously, another season of malik will drive us nuts.

I think QBs today jump to fast. Kosar took a shirt while Vinny backed up Kelly and Mark. Next Year Kosar wins NC and Vinny gets shirt. Vinny sticks with The U, plays in to NC games, wins the Heisman, and goes 1st in NFL draft. Mark stayed behind Kelly and ends up HC at major SEC school and then gets the job that really matters -- HC here.

I understand if you are buried at 4th or 5th string and in 2nd or 3rd year, but with injuries coming as they do, why not stick around the place you picked. Mark needs to keep Rosier on the farm regardless of what people here think or say. Kid gave Mark HIS best start ever -- 10 - 0 and won our 1st Coastal title. You have to keep a senior like that even if you know another will get the starting position at some point in the season. What needs to happen is we need to have some blowouts so the the young qbs get live fire time. So if Rosier craps the floor we don't send in someone like a deer in the headlights.

Hater, I agree and have said so many times. Right knows **** good and well Rosier is weak link on offense, he will keep him as starter to keep him from going anywhere. He will start at LSU, he will be on a short hook though, this year he actually has other options. Not gonna compete in the QB contraversy on this board however, all I will say is we have 3 legit guys now, I trust Richt will go with the one that gives him the best chance to win. I know it’s hard for some on here but MR knows more about the position than any CIS board member. His hands has been tied since he got here, this year it’s not the case, I know he must feel good about that, finally
