He's my hope so far out of the group Let him get the ropes during spring and hopefully he will make some noise this fall sadly he's just young at this point

This is a faulty argument/position. This comment infers that Perry will not progress at all or not enough from year 2 to 3 in the program. It's hard to say. Some kids come along quicker than others...

As I like Jared and his skills set and frame. I believe Perry is the truth the way he scrambles with in the pocket like Roethlisberger to keep plays alive, and from what two receivers mention his ball placement 2 create Yak yards has him my Ace until proven otherwise

p.s. -- I wrote the above in what I initially thought would be received as sarcasm. But I read it to myself before hitting post and realized some people here might think I was being serious and (even worse) agree with what they thought was a serious, defensible position. So I wrote this post-script for some (unfortunately) much-needed clarity.
 
FTR, I love Perry’s game and everything he brings to the table physically. I just think Jarren has it mentally and is far more serious about playing football/being a leader.
 
LOL. Jarren Williams is this year’s N’Kosi Perry.

I’m going to reserve judgement on any of our QB’s until the Spring Game at the earliest. Will Jarren and Cade get some reps with the 1’s? 2’s? If so, we can better evaluate. If not, then that tells you what CMR is thinking.

Based on a few seconds of YouTube videos. That’s a **** of an extrapolation.

All I can see is that he got better coaching in high school, ran a more sophisticated offense, and possibly looks more polished than N’Kosi did last year. Not much more than that.

Plus other people are saying N’Kosi is ahead now.

Based on what brooklyndee has said, along with the things that the two of the post on social media.

I also was skeptical about Nkosi’s leadership since high school. What stood out to me was that Nkosi said that he hadn’t tried to recruit anyone to come play with him when he was a recruit. I felt that was uncharacteristic of a big time qb and that was one of the first red flags I saw regarding leadership.

What im saying has nothing to do with that YouTube video posted in this thread.
