Richt needs to run Perry

Can we please for the love of god actually run read options. Read the **** D End, if he crashes hold it, if not hand it off. I learned that **** when I was 8. Why is everything always predetermined. Not once did he call a play where Perry can showcase his running ability. I guess one can hope.

LoL, that's on perry not making good choices, have you ever seen perry fake a handoff, pull it and run it, thats part of why he keeps getting benched, d-co's already know he not doing that just yet but we'll see. You gotta give rosier credit for being a running threat, cant say dual threat cause nobody worried about him passing.

It’s cause Richt calls predetermined plays. It’s not an “option”

If this isn’t what a “runner” is then I don’t know what is. Someone explain to me how this isn’t being a “runner”?

Here's the dilemma, some of what you saying is True, perry has the better arm but is way behind on the mental side of the game so at this stage coach richt has basically been joysticking perry cause him reading defenses has not been their so often times he telling him where to go with the ball. But the times he dont perry out their looking lost so he's not even looking to keep the ball on the reads cause he's not reading and his ball skills are not where they should be just yet!

I think it's the right call but let's face it...nothing he does from here on out will satisfy some of you since wrong or right you have written the guy off already.
I believe Perry has some physical skills. Not elite but adequate. But, I believe his problem is that he is not a smart qb. He has trouble reading defenses, he panics when facings a bull rush, and he often audibles at the wrong times. All our currents QBs are not capable of taking us out of this 15 year funk. Many posters continue to say qb does not have to lead team in order to be a great team. Tell that to Tua at Bama, Lawrence at Clemson and new qb at n Dame. Listed are 3 top ranked teams.

What a coincidence that the two best teams in the country have 2 elite quarterbacks

I never once brought anything up other than running him more. I’m not saying run GT’s offense with him but when he hasn’t run 1 option, why would the defense worry about it and they collapse on the RB. That’s all I’m saying.

Why on Earth have we decided he's a bad runner? Seems fine enough to me. Would love to see what his average is if we took out sacks.

Perry needs to throw the ball to Jordan and Thomas

He did to Jordan twice, and both times were on the money, absolute beautiful passes, and he dropped it. Both were at critical times and both plays should’ve been made.
Yes and he needs to keep doing that and he needs to find Thomas at least 5 times.

When Perry widens his base he gives the defender so much time to wrap up. His move to break away and run is so easy to see and gives someone plently of time to get him.

I haven't seen a get off as slow as him since Kaaya.

I was agreeing with you, my post was about perry!

after the juke, he stands straight up and isn't really outrunning anyone. N'Kosi is shifty in the pocket but doesn't keep his eyes down field or possess that escape (40) speed.
